Does the standard Nike Roshe Run still have the same pull for you now that the silhouette’s been released one NIKE iD? Of course the customizable route has some restrictions, allowing Nike Sportswear’s in-house stuff to reel people in whenever a new set rolls out. The latest one to show up is this, which sports soft grey, midnight fog, and total crimson on the blocking. The sneaker has been sitting in Euro shops for a minute, but it’s finally starting to show up at stateside spots now. Nike WMNS Roshe Run “Metric”

The wide world of Roshe just dipped into some uncharted territory earlier this month when we got a first look at a funk all-black pair of WMNS releases that we dubbed the “Geometric” for its unique upper. It features a repeating arrangement of triangles to create a geometric look on a fortified, almost Kobe-meets-Batman shell, but we figure the lightweight and breathable nature of the Roshe still exists. In any case, this Nike WMNS Roshe Run “Metric” should pique the interest of those who gravitate toward this sort of visually stunning footwear (even though it is a basic all-black), and it appears that these are beginning to hit select retailers around the globe, so keep an eye out for a release and we’ll hit you up with U.S. release info soon should it apply to our hemisphere.

Nike Roshe Run “Air Jordan III” by JP Custom Kicks

nike roshe run air jordan iii custom Nike Roshe Run Air Jordan III by JP Custom Kicks

We’re surprised that the Nike Roshe Run hasn’t been picked up more often for custom jobs. The pair offers a pretty clean slate for the upper, but perhaps the mesh material is just too difficult for most folks to tackle. JP Custom Kicks wasn’t afraid though. The customizer decided to slap in the iconic “Black/Cement” colorway of the Air Jordan III onto the sneaker, even mimicking details like the midsole blocking and the elephant print sections. Get a complete look at the Nike Roshe Run “Air Jordan III” from JP Custom Kicks after the jump and tell us if you think he did a good job transferring the aesthetics of one classic to another.

What is your favorite of the peripheral Nike Roshe Run styles? Ending up pretty close to the original in terms of the overall shape is the Nike Roshe Run Dynamic Flywire, which brings in a techy look on the sides that runs up to the lacing system. Of course the Flywire supports are sort of superfluous here, as nobody is using the Nike Roshe Run as a performance sneaker, but they do a good job breaking up the silhouette anyways so we can dig it. Continue reading for a full view on the Nike Roshe Run Dynamic Flywire in cyber (As well as the curious “Barely Volt” color) and get yours now from Rock City Kicks.

So when the Nike Roshe Run iD came to light, the Sneaker News staff did a quick mock-up of a rather convenient “Yeezy 2″ colorway. The available color swatches allowed for a near-exact replica of the signature “Pure Platinum” and “Solar Red” colorways, and we expected a lot of Roshe fans to hit iD with the color-combos – especially considering the rabid demand for those Roshe Run FB “Yeezys”. Thanks to some experimental sneakerheads, we’re getting a look at the final product of the Nike Roshe Run iD “Yeezy 2″ Editions in both colorways, so if you’ve been on the fence about making your own pair, maybe this firsthand viewing is just what you need (note the inner lining is Fusion Red). There’s a detailed gallery below so take a look and let us know if you’re ready to make your own.

The Strata Grey edition allows its namesake cables to shine, but the black Nike Roshe Run DYN FW Quickstrike takes a different approach. You can still see three colored Flywire strands zig-zagging through the rear en route to a brief uncovered appearance at the eyelets, but the presentation is muted beneath a black top layer. Let us know which of these Dynamic Flywire Rosheruns is your favorite after checking out more images below, but don’t hesitate in grabbing yours while you can at Nike Sportswear stores like Oneness.

Nike WMNS Roshe Run – Blue Glow – Volt

Nike iD was created to give us an opportunity to get crazy with colorways, but when the two-toned look is what looks best on the Roshe, maybe the GR colorways are all that we need. This Blue Glow/Volt colorway for women is one of the electric colorways that we typically gravitate towards on iD, so why not save the money and time and cop them right off the shelf instead? This Roshe is popping up at retailers around the globe like afew, so see the multiple angles below and keep an eye out for a release at other spots soon.

We’ve seen a couple of the Dynamic Flywire-equipped Rosheruns hit retailers with multicolored cables; what might it look like with a more uniform presentation? Your answer to that question, as well as a strong contender as this pack’s ultimate ‘winner’ is this Nike Roshe Run DYN FW Quickstrike in Night Stadium and Sport Turquoise. This style represents the convergence of three scorching hot properties (Roshe, Flywire and ‘Tiffany’ colorway), so it’s a good idea to be swift in checking out more photos below because they’ll be gone just as fast at Nike Sportswear retailers like Oneness.
