The Dunk Pro SB is celebrating its 10th anniversary and Nike SB will soon unveil its take on the Air Jordan 1, but don’t forget about the other classic basketball silhouette that has been foundational for Swoosh skateboarding over the past several years. The Nike SB Blazer High was conspicuous by its absence in January’s footwear collection, but two upcoming colorways ensure that this revised take on the 1973 classic will garner its fair share of attention in the coming months. Coming up shortly will be the pair in Midnight Fog with Birch accents we just saw, along with a Quasar Purple suede makeup that roughly flips the color distribution found on February’s Blazer Low SB release. The quality of both pairs is apparent in the closeups you’ll see after you click on the jump below, and you’ll find the Midnight Fog edition at select Nike SB retailers with the Quasar Purple likely to follow next month. via Kasina

For those sneakerheads who love the traditional styling of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski series, February is shaping up to be quite a solid month. Stef’s SB signatures set the table for the rest of the 02/12 lineup, the simple three-toned colorways utilized on the low and midtop versions exactly the kind of simple satisfaction you can expect from the rest of the set. Additional standouts include the Ironstone Dunk Low SB with Barn red accents and the ubiquitous white Dunk midsole, SB Blazers in both High and Low and white-on-black renditions of both Eric Koston and Paul Rodriguez’ latest sig releases. You can see each pair of these up-close by clicking on the jump below, then look for them at select Swoosh skateboarding stockists like Premier.

Nike Sportswear’s VNTG Blazer lineup for spring shifts from the familiar suede to a nylon setup with leather Swooshes. That new vintage look is raised to the power of negative one on the skateboarding side of the Swoosh’s Beaverton, OR headquarters with this new spin on the Nike SB Blazer that just came onto the scene rocking a nylon Swoosh atop a rich suede base. The color combination seems even more patriotic when you consider that the fall expected release for this pair perfectly coincides with the Olympic Games leadup and events; might we see something like 2008′s Trickstar pack in celebration of the XXX Olympiad? Click through so you can see more of the this new midtop silhouette along with what looks like it could be the first hint of a switch from Zoom Air to LunarLon cushioning, and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. Kicking yourself over that passed up pair of kicks from years back? One of those regrettable passes could be in here – Premier’s sudden restock of 2009 Nike SB releases. If there’s one material that just looks right on a Nike SB Blazer High, it’s suede. Something about that high-top silhouette that first hit as a basketball sneaker in the 70′s calls for the smoothed out nap of a suede upper. If you need any proof, check out the above Blazer that Nike SB just dropped, coming in the serene ‘rift blue’ broken up by a black leather swoosh across the side. The white vulcanized midsole pops quite a bit, and this pair even comes with a back up set of white laces if you want to switch out the stock blues to up the contrast. Follow us after the jump to get a detailed look at this Nike SB Blazer High, and grab them now from Premier.

White-on-black Nike SB Blazer Highs and Blazer CS SBs have been available ‘all day/every day’ at Nike SB retailers for some time, so along with the black/Team Red and ‘A Tribe Called Quest’ joints that just hit retailers, black suede has figured quite prominently in the SB Blazer’s recent plans. A pair of suede Blazers is one of those impeccable looks that deserves to be reproduced across the entire visible spectrum, and when you pair the lovely Rift Blue shade on this pair with grey nubuck for a range of crisp blues plus white on the vulc sole, you get one of the ‘coolest’ winter designs we’ve seen so far for the coming stretch of extended cold weather. Click through to see more angles after the jump and expect this pair at retailers next month. via Kasina

If this pair of Nike SB Blazer Highs looks immediately familiar, you may be recalling the ‘Low End Theory’ joints that dropped in August. Utilizing a similar approach of red Swoosh on black uppers, these lose the embossed graphics, opting for an uninhibited suede. The red featured is also a couple shades darker, giving the sneaker a much more laid-back look. Check out the full photos of this Nike SB Blazer High after the jump and head over to Flatspot to get your pair.
