Frank Kozik‘s Puma Suede designs aren’t tearing up the blogosphere like, say, the Nike Air Yeezy 2, but there’s no doubting this man’s ability to play a key role in a monster collaboration. One need only consult with their local Air Max 1 afficionado to get the discussion going on the 2005 Kid Robot collabo to recall that his special insoles were even more limited than the kicks that regularly move at north of $1500 these days. That kind of ‘insider’ connection in combination with a limited Quickstrike release makes this Kozik x Nike SB Dunk High a must have for reasons beyond its rugged military-themed good looks. It looks like we can finally retire the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Eirie’ as the official St. Patrick’s day sneaker of choice, as an equally Irish themed sneaker has finally arrived. The Nike SB Dunk High ‘Guiness’ pays tribute to that most famous of Irish brews, with the upper nailing the rich black and brown look of that blimey beverage. Unfortunately here’s no official logo indicating the theme, as Nike SB has long since learned their lesson in that regard, but this still serves as one of the better beverage centric designs in recent memory. Hit the jump for the shots and dip into your pot of gold a bit to cop now from accounts like Premier.

Plenty of people partake of green beer each St. Patrick’s Day, but even this colorful expression is but a mere nod to the true OG of Irish brews. The new Nike SB Dunk High ‘Guinness’ pictured above takes advantage of the calendar without throwing out just another clover colorway. It’s particularly interesting that this one takes on a ‘Black and Tan’ appearance, just as the recently revealed Dunk Low SB by that same name incorporates a side panel gradient to get some pale ale influence in there. This Guinness colorup is decidedly simpler, and perhaps the plainest of all of Swoosh Skateboarding’s adult beverage homages to date. Have a closer look at them and let us know if you’ll head out to your local Nike SB retailer like Black Sheep in Charlotte to grab this ‘Below the Line’ in-store exclusive.

One of the strongest reasons why fans of the OG Mids learned to embrace the new strapless version last year was the timeless beauty of the ‘Brickhouse’ red suede edition with white accents and a gum rubber sole. They moved quickly and those who favored the look will have another chance to get something just as pleasing on this new Nike SB Dunk High that should hit retailers during the third quarter of this new year. These joints crank the red up a notch both in terms of height and tonal expression, sporting a Safari print leather on the overlay along with a more natural grain on the Swoosh. Dunks nearly always look good with white midsoles and the gum bottoms come through again for another all-red success, but are they clearly better than the all-suede Brickhouse Mids? Kicking yourself over that passed up pair of kicks from years back? One of those regrettable passes could be in here – Premier’s sudden restock of 2009 Nike SB releases. Some notables like the ‘Skate Mental’ and ‘Bloody Gums’ SB Dunk High just became available (again), as did few new notable Blazer renditions like the ‘USC’ in Maroon and Gold. There are seven resurrected Nike SB 2009 selections to choose from, so check ‘em all out below and head to Premier to stock up on some older releases from Nike Skateboarding.

With the sun rarely showing its face these days, the Nike SB design team has taken notice and tucked away the brighter colorways. We’ve seen them working with a distinctly darker palette, exemplified by our two part rundown of their January 2012 releases. A standout from the pack is this Nike SB Dunk High, a quickstrike release that hits with the popular tumbled suede look on the upper. We’ve seen these sort of bare-bones colorways become fan favorites in the past (the ‘Venom’ comes to mind) so don’t expect this pair to sit around. Hit the jump for a full look and get in touch with the guys at Concepts to pick up your pair.

Sneaker News kicked off Monday morning by giving you the first look at Gino Iannucci’s new Nike SB pro model, and now we get a look at something else new that also has a strong connection to Swoosh skateboarding’s longtime core. This new Nike SB Dunk High comes in a darker camouflage than we’ve ever seen on its quarter-century-aged silhouette, but that doesn’t put a damper on the conversation they share with legendary drops like the Reese Forbes ‘Hunter’ or Brian Anderson’s 2006 San Francisco Giants-inspired design. A rugged canvas camo atop black suede means these will be just as good for serious skating as street-level concealment, and you can see more of this summer 2012 release after the jump. via N-SB
