If you make Santa’s naughty list, fear the wrath of Krampus – the horned beast assisting Mr. Claus with his gift-giving this Christmas season. Sean Cliver, a mainstay in the skateboard culture and oft-tapped collaborator with skate brands like Supreme, hooks up with Nike Skateboarding for a special edition release of the Nike Dunk High SB. The mythical creature known as ‘Krampus’ comes to life in this eerie yet festive design of the high-top Dunk,w hich features red pony-hair ont he heel, suede and cracked leather on the upper and a furry interior lining. Krampus is seen both on the tongue label and on the custom insoles as well as accompanying t-shirts and hats in this collection. Collaborations have been key for the Nike SB Dunk in 2012, with a monthly output of clean and simple Dunk colorways being spruced up with occasional special edition releases. Following up on the successful releases of the Supreme SB Dunk, the Levi’s collaboration, and the ‘Entourage’, New England-based CNCPTS will unleash their design of ‘When Pigs Fly’ inspired by the 80′s generation-defining flick called Porky’s. These will release tomorrow at 6:00 AM exclusively at Concepts so if you’re in the area, get ready to line-up because these are sure to fly off the shelves in an instant.

The unveiling of the 2012 Nike x Doerbecher Freestyle IX was one of the biggest events of the year, with droves of eager fans flocking to our in-depth overview of the entire collection. New to the Doernbecher Freestyle is the Nike SB Dunk, arriving as part of this year’s collection in ‘High’ form. This design was led by 10-year-old Finnigan Mooney, who chose an image of a human heart on the upper. Why? Because he’s beast-moded through thirteen heart surgeries, and the word ‘THUMP THUMP’ suggests that he and his beating heart are ready to take on whatever comes his way. The official release of the Nike SB Dunk High “Doernbecher” as well as the entire Doernbecher Freestyle IX is confirmed for next Friday, November 30th, so check out the full shots below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates.

If you didn’t feel like sleeping in the streets of Cambridge Thursday night then we’ve got good news for you: the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High ‘When Pigs Fly’ will indeed be available online. Of course the quantities will be limited, and you’ll be battling Nike SB heads across the world to lock down one of the few pairs, but at least now folks beyond the New England area have a shot. Click through for photos of the package which includes the Nike SB Dunk High complete with a custom box, custom insoles, three sets of laces, and that awesome metallic piggy lacelock. The greatest single from a European group named after a color of all time? We’re gonna call it a tossup between Coldplay’s “Yellow” and Eiffel 65′s “Blue”, but the latter may have just pulled ahead in the race thanks to this special Nike SB Dunk High release. The pair, unofficially nicknamed the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Eiffel 65′ sports a solid Game Royal on top of a jet Black kit. Nike SB Dunk releases have long been landing spots for pop-culture references of all sorts, but we’re pretty sure this is the first time the sneakers have sported a colorway paying homage to a one-hit wonder Italian electro band. Pictured here is the so-called Nike SB Dunk High ‘Eiffel 65′, with an appropriately blue color up as a reference to probably the only song by those guys that you’ve ever heard. Nike Skateboarding’s 2007 release of the ‘What The Dunk’ was a tribute to all the amazing SB Dunk releases that released up until that point. Was a High version i the works for 2009? Spotted at the ‘Made for Skate’ event in Los Angeles, this SB Dunk High sample was placed among the 2009 line-up of footwear (the exhibit was ordered chronologically) and features a mix of colors like red patent, gold foil, tie-dye, brown suede, black perforated leather, and more. Although this version doesn’t make any direct connections to SB Dunk Highs like El Cappy’s custom version from earlier this year, it certainly would be interesting if Nike SB decided to hit us with a High version, don’t you think? You’ve already seen the sneaker to some extent via leaked images, but at last the official shots arrive of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High ‘When Pigs Fly’. The sneaker takes its inspiration from classic teen film of the 80s Porkys, taking that title pretty literally with a pink piggy look to go on the metallic-Swoosh bolstered Nike SB Dunk High release. Click through for a whole look at the package, including the slick flying pig lacelock, the ‘shower’ box, and the matching apparel set-and look for these to drop on Black Friday, November 23 exclusively at Concepts in Cambridge at 6:00 AM.
