More than ten years have passed since the Nike SB Dunk made its official start, and although the magic has died down considerably and the last golden era was way back in the pink-box stage, we’re still hit with some random surprises that should definitely rekindle the fire in some of the most devoted SB collectors. The recently released Nike Dunk booklet with a huge pile of shoes featured a strange version of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Hunter” on the cover in which the brown hemp and real tree camouflage print had been “reversed; it turns out this was a scrapped sample of that popular 2004 release (simply put, a straight up “reverse” of the original), and as the owner points out, the ‘V 2′ designation on the inner tag may note that this version was made after the eventual final draft was made. Definitely a nice piece of history of SB Dunk fans out there, so check out this rare gallery below and let us know if you’ve got the Hunters (designed by Nike SB rider Reese Forbes) in your stash!

Teasers have been the big trend of late with Nike SB Dunk Low collabo revelations, as Del the Funky Homosapien followed in the footsteps of Skatepark of Tampa with just a hint of what’s to come last week. These new photos today mark the third time we’ve seen just a hint of what’s to come with the SPoT Dunk Low SBs, but now we can piece together most of what to expect for this tribute to the park’s 20th anniversary. The black, mint and white combo is quite popular at the moment, and adds with details like the double-layered Swoosh and cartoon embossing that a @lancemountain shoutout in the Instagram caption may reveal their source. Michael Jordan’s influence was celebrated throughout the week leading up to his 50th birthday Sunday. ESPN was among the major media outlets to explore the impact of Mike and his Jordans over the past twenty-eight years, and here’s one clear piece of evidence beyond the obvious Jumpman-branded items. The Nike SB Dunk Low ’Concord’ sees the lowtop version of a model very similar to the Air Jordan 1 take on the XI’s immortal patent leather and Cordura construction along with thick corded laces and an icey outsole (plus the namesake purple shade on the midfoot inset). Have a closer look at this summer 2013 release below and if you can’t wait, check out this size 9 available early from toutie_89 on eBay.

Now in its eleventh year in existence, the Nike SB Dunk Low continues to be an icon of the sneaker scene despite the decreased “sex appeal” of the shoes. That era of the SB Dunk may be over, which makes the hunt for the earlier classics as well as unreleased samples that much more intense. This particular pair falls in the latter of the two categories as this Brown/Navy/Orange, a clean mix of the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Paul Brown’, the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Broncos’, and Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Barf’ (look those up here), falls in the pre-10th Anniversary era as noted by the classic outsole and thinner tongue. If SB Dunks are still your thing, check out the gallery below and purchase directly from snapstyle on eBay.
