NIKE SB DUNK MID The Nike SB Dunk Mid introduced an in-between height to the classic Dunk model under the Nike SB imprint. As a whole the silhouette has a smaller number of highly-sought after colorways than the Nike SB Dunk High and Low, but it remains a popular choice for Nike SB enthusiasts. The Nike SB Dunk Mid traditionally features a strap across the tongue, an element that was removed in 2011 and subsequently brought back in 2012.

This Nike SB Dunk Mid colorway is one whose materials seem a bit at odds with the colorway. A ripstop pair is one that you’d probably get the most use out of for the winter months, but the clean blue and white colorway in place definitely looks like a spring time affair. Either way they’re here now, finally making their way into Nike SB accounts after we got our first peek way back in October of 2012. Get with us after the jump to see some more angles on this Nike SB Dunk Mid and keep in mind that they’re in store now at Dissent Skateshop.

The strap returned to the Nike SB Dunk Mid recently, which, for some, provided a different look of the Dunk compared to the Low and High. This upcoming Mid release takes advantage of that ankle piece as it uses the snappy Ostrich material on the heel panel as well as on the strap, while the rest of the colorway is made up of a woodsy mix of Team Red, Rugged Orange, Orange Blaze, and Black. These are slated for a release in the Summer 2013 season, so check out the multiple-view set-up below and cop this size 9 sample ahead of schedule from blshog10 on eBay.

The Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro has thrived in simple colorways since the strap returned last summer, particularly the two-toned makeup that pairs a suede upper with contrasting leather Swoosh. The latest example utilizes a Hyper Red upper and white on the Swoosh and (of course) midsole. Anthracite sandwiches the whole deal for a bit more aggressive finish than the 2011 ‘Brickhouse’ edition that stands out as one of the best strapless Mids; which do you prefer? Let us know after seeing more below, then grab these Hyper Red Dunk Mid Pro SBs at shops like Premier.

That exact formula will stick around in the Nike SB catalog for at least one more sneaker-the forthcoming Nike SB Dunk Mid in hyper red pictured here. Click through with us to get this first official look at the hyper red/anthracite/white combination and watch for them at Nike SB accounts in March.

While the Nike SB line may have had its best days while the various Dunks heights were getting done up in eye-popping colors from a range of collaborators, there’s certainly nothing wrong with a greyed out inline pair. Proving that is this new suede based release on the Nike SB Dunk Mid. The sneaker sports the stand perf up on the toe box, a bid more on the mid panel, and then switches to rip stop nylon for a brief bit on the back end. Hit the jump for a complete preview and if you’re looking to pick up a pair then keep that Premier has them in stock now.

The sport of skateboarding puts immense focus and value on the materials used in creating a skate shoe. With so much direct contact between the shoe upper and sport apparatus, it’s important to keep the foot safe and protected at all times. With that said, the Dunk has been such a huge hit for its low-pro yet durable build, and this new Mid release doesn’t stray from the formula that’s been working since the Dunk first debuted in the 80′s. This tonal Sport Grey Mid with suede, perforated leather, and rip-stop nylon is set to hit Nike SB purveyors in February, so check out the full shot below.
