Nike SB January 2012 Footwear Available | Part 2

What’s that you say? You already know what’s hitting Nike SB accounts this month thanks to our heads up from yesterday? Well it turns out there are a few more models showing up for January 2012 so stick with us for a second here to check out the rest. First up, a couple P-Rod releases: Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 in black/white/metallic silver and a Nike Sb P-Rod V with a tar colored suede upper and a dusky tone of midnight falling on the swoosh. After that it’s the Nike SB Blazer Low with a not-quite-blackout look, thanks to the midnight fog that lightens the mood a little bit. Follow us after the jump for a full look at all three of these and let us know what you’re looking forward to the most from the January 2012 Nike SB releases. As always, they can be found at fine retail locations like Premier.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Black Sport Red

Over the course of Paul Rodriguez’ five generations of Nike SB signatures, we’ve seen countless black, red and white colorways.  On the P-Rod 5, for example, the first two lowtop colorways were Chicago-styled and just last month we got a black suede Mid with white and red trim.  The latest release is quite similar but also adds a grey leather Swoosh to the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 whose upper we’ve seen in countless palettes over the years.  Will these make their way into your skate sneaker rotation, perhaps along with the similarly colored on-the-way V-Rods?  Click through and you’ll see more photos before you buy them at a Swoosh skateboarding store like Premier.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Team Red

In its lifespan we’ve seen the Nike SB P-Rod borrow quite a bit from Nike SB’s more celebrated sneakers. We’ve seen this sneaker appropriate the colorways of the Tiffany, Pigeon, and Cali SB Dunks, but at some point you want to see a sneaker strike out and make a mark with its own unique colorways. This just released Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 might do the trick, coming in a deep team red that takes over the upper with a smooth suede. A burnt shade of yellow gives it some pop on the swoosh and the bits of accenting, keeping them from a monochrome fate. Also not to be missed is the graphic details on the insole, just another small feature that makes this P-Rod 2.5 special. Continue reading for a full look and if you need a pair of these then Premier has you covered.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Grey Black White Red

Back in 2007, Nike SB issued a colorway for Paul Rodriguez’ second signature sneaker based upon Jeff Staple’s legendary Dunk Low SB ‘Pigeon’.  Their tonal grey upper with white accents and just a hint of orange on the sockliner and outsole can be seen as a sign of things to come in the post-recession sneaker scene, both their clean and simple color scheme, the silhouette that carried over to the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5.  Some would even extend this lineage to the colorway on this new P-Rod 2.5, though the red lining and baby blue foxing band means that these joints don’t really fall into the category of, say, the ‘Tiffany’ Bruin or the ‘Cali’ 2.5s that dropped earlier this year.  A solid colorway even if it can’t be directly attached to any previous release, this one should hit retail early next year.  via N-SB

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Tiffany | Available @ NikeStore

Nike SB has revisited several of its early classics this year, but even before 2011′s old school revival, the ‘Tiffany’ colorway that debuted on Diamond Supply Co.’s Dunk Low Pro SB had been reappropriated to a variety of models.  Stretching into Nike Sportswear and even beyond Nike Inc. bounds to countless other brands, the combination of black, white and aqua is one of the all-time greats, and it looks superb as usual on this new Nike SB P-Rod 2.5.  Click through to see more angles, let us know how they compare to, say, Eric Koston and Stefan Janoski’s own similar getups, and pick up your ‘Tiffany’ P-Rod 2.5 today from NikeStore.

Primitive x Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Cali Berlin Exclusive

Released this past May, the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 ‘Cali’ paid tribute to Paul Rodriguez’ Golden State roots with a redux of the 2004 classic Dunk Low Pro SB in Pecan and white.  Their tumbled leather and suede construction was a faithful nod, right down to the green/red sole, but this new edition adds embroidery detailing to the lateral heels in honor of the opening of Paul’s second Primitive retail spot in Berlin.  Only 24 pairs will be available in Germany, so click through to see the shoe and a look into the new Primitive Berlin, set to open July 7th.

Nike SB July 2011 Footwear

Unlike in the real world (or at least the northern hemisphere, anyway) when July 1st is among the longest and usually warmest days of the entire year, the first day of Q3 starts the fall season for fashion.  And it’s clear Nike Skateboarding is looking to help you ready for the inevitable decline into autumn, this collection of Nike SB footwear for July taking a significant turn toward richer, earthy colorways.  We’ll start with the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro that takes its colors from the UK’s passports, a model that lends its deep red to the sockliner of the Blazer High SB in Classic Charcoal and Halo.  The Stefan Janoski signature series gets two new models with a City Navy suede Mid and a black canvas and brass Low while Paul Rodriguez also gets two new shoes in the form of V-Rod and P-Rod 2.5s.  Rounding out the group is an all but blacked-out Eric Koston 1 with a gum sole, and you can see all of these in more detail when you click on the jump below.  Let us know which pairs catch your eye and look for these at Nike SB account worldwide.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Tiffany New Images

The Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Tiffany’ just earned a primo slot on Complex’ list of the top 50 Nike Dunk SBs, a development that shocked a total of zero experienced sneakerheads when the list was published Monday morning.  Experienced collectors recognize the croc-textured leather and groundbreaking colorway as one of the GOATs, a fact that’s not lost on Swoosh Skateboarding as they continue to reprise the classics courtesy of new models.  In this case, it’s the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 that takes on the classic Tiffany Blue, and while these lack the reptile texture on their muse’s overlay, the inclusion of this colorway with a vulc sole makes that a positive by setting these apart.  Click through to see more angles and look for these soon at select Nike SB accounts like Warped.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Obsidian Team Red Yellow

His fifth Nike SB signature sneaker set to drop next year, Paul Rodriguez can look back on his career and see that it took a massive upswing around the time of the release of his second.  The P-Rod II was so popular upon its initial release that despite a newer Rodriguez pro model being on the shelves, the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 was launched to capitalize on the respective momentum carried by the P-Rod II silhouette and vulcanized soles.  This latest colorway keeps with the line’s generally clean look thanks to an Obsidian suede upper with Team Red and yellow accents, and you can see more images of it after the jump before you buy a pair at select Nike SB retailers like Flatspot.

Nike SB May 2011 Footwear Preview

With the East Coast having experienced a particularly nasty winter, it’s nice to know that spring is right around the corner.  Along with warmer weather, you can expect a whole new batch of kicks from Nike SB and here’s a preview of Swoosh Skateboarding’s May 2011 releases.  We’ll start with the revitalized Nike SB Dunk Pro, which’ll be dropping in the ‘Seattle Seahawks’ suede colorup, another high in Deep Burgundy and Aquamarine and one low that owes a debt of gratitude to the ‘Aqua’ Air Jordan VIII.  Along with the return of the Zoom Harbor, Stefan Janoski’s deck shoe-inspired signature will release in both low and mid cuts, as will the SB Blazer CS.  Rounding out the set are three different Paul Rodriguez models: the ‘Cali’ P-Rod 2.5, a white P-Rod IV and the Vulc-Rod in navy with white and red accents.  Click through to see all of em and stay glued to Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via MIA
