It’s not even Christmas yet (we know that because the Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ is still awaiting its early morning
mass mobs lineups), and already select Nike SB retailers are starting to get their January 2012 footwear in stock. Let’s start with a Nike SB Dunk Low in a bold mix of navy blue, black and gold whose basketball-like pebbled underlay makes these even more of a reminder of Michigan’s Nike days. Coming up next is something you might expect more from Wisconsin, a Golden Hops suede-backed Dunk Mid Pro SB whose black leather overlay that looks so supple they could be a Premium. The Stefan Janoski makes an unprecedented offering with black and Anthracite pairs releasing in both the lowtop and Mid silhouettes, a simple black suede design echoed by the ’SB Chronicles’ Team Edition SE we’ve shown you a couple times this week. Rounding out the set are a ‘Tiffany’ Zoom Bruin SB and the Omar Salazar LR in navy and white, which means this is the first month in a while without a P-Rod signature model. We know for a fact there are more models on the way and we’ll be showing a couple of Quickstrikes a bit later this morning, so click through for more of this set and meet all your Swoosh skateboarding needs with Premier.

Did you cop the new ’Nike SB Chronicles Vol. 1′ video from iTunes yet? If so, you already know that Jason Hernandez’ showcase is among the most visually impressive skate videos released in the HD era, a trek through global centers like Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Dubai and all over the USA in search of the best rails, ledges and gaps in the world. The music is superb as with all Nike SB videos, and parts 2 and 3 will be coming along shortly. And speaking of extra parts coming along after the Vol. 1 launch, here’s a closer look at the Nike SB Team Edition SE released in honor of the video’s release. These black suede Team Edition SEs have been trated to details like a rat peeking out from behind the tongue tag Swoosh, along with an insole that might make your friends think you’re a cyborg. Click through to see more angles and pick yours up from Nike SB shops like DQM.

The Nike SB Innovation Timeline we shared with you last week chronicles the advent of new and better technologies in use for the latest generation of Swoosh skateboarding sneakers, but there’s also been a marked trend in recent years running in the opposite direction. Instead of the chunky tanks that dominated for a stretch, the default in today’s kick-push game is to borrow from classic styles ranging from the earliest tape-grippers to casual standards like boat shoes and even dressier options like wingtips. The Nike SB Team Edition
2 SE embodies this return to time-tested style, its design undoubtedly informed by the runaway success of Stefan Janoski’s SB signature. This black and Swan debut is dubbed ‘SB Chronicles’ for its tongue tag and insoles referencing the recently released Vol 1. video, and you can see these details and more after the jump before you head over to Premier to pick up a pair.
