Nike SB Zoom Bruin – Black – Gum – Camouflage

Shortly after Nike SB utilized Bill Jordan’s Realtree camouflage prints as a big part of last October’s releases, a new Zoom Bruin SB was issued with the nickname ‘Camo Mystery’.  This Nike Zoom Bruin SB Quickstrike was a decidedly less technical take on visual concealment than the Dunk Mid SB Pro that came with a photorealistic feel, and now here’s a new Bruin done similarly to the style of the Zoom Classic SB ‘Camo’.  These Bruins put the camouflage print on their sockliner for an eye-catching edge to an otherwise subdued black-on-black design that rides an earthy brown sole.  Blackout colorways, gum soles and camouflage prints are all relatively timeless design cues, so that makes these a solid candidate for your everyday rotation, but you can only find them in-store at select Nike SB retailers like Premier.

Nike SB Zoom Bruin – Binary Blue – Ginger – White

September 21st, 2011 by | 3 comments

nike sb zoom bruin binary blue ginger white summary Nike SB Zoom Bruin Binary Blue Ginger White

A model that’s sometimes overlooked thanks to high profile Dunk SB releases and notable signature drops, the Nike SB Zoom Bruin for September will garner some extra attention with this simple yet sick colorway. They’re crafted in Binary Blue suede, a single color as has been the case for basically every Bruin we’ve seen, but these stand out for their use of a slightly frayed denim-style material in a the warm Ginger shade for the Swoosh and foxing stripe. As we’ve seen countless times with dark rinse denim and khaki pants, these two colors can pair with almost anything, and together, they offer quite a few possibilities as we move into the cold weather months. Have a closer look at these after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on all Nike SB release dates. via Kasina

Nike SB September 2011 Footwear Part 2

We posed the question whether the return of the strapped Nike SB Dunk Mid ’Griptape’ could be a signal that the straps were back for good, and here’s a quick answer to the contrary.  Coming up later this month is a set of new Swoosh Skateboarding footwear, the highlight of which has gotta be the above pictured Dunk Mid Pro SB that you might as well call the ‘Suede Supremes’.  They echo the Chicago-style version of the famed Elephant Print Dunk Low SBs that the New York scene leaders released nine years ago this month, but come off considerably more subtle thanks to a heavily tumbled texture in lieu of black Elephant markings.  Other upoming notables include a Zoom Bruin SB in Gold Straw, a Chicago-style Koston 1 and a burgundy Blazer Low SB, and photos of each pair await your click on the jump below.  via SF

Nike SB Zoom Bruin ‘Mocha’

August 19th, 2011 by | 1 comment

nike sb zoom bruin mocha spring 2012 1 570x414 Nike SB Zoom Bruin Mocha

Here’s another Nike SB spring 2012 release to add to the already substantial pile accumulated over the past few weeks.  This new Nike SB Zoom Bruin is like the ‘Tiffany’ edition also slated for Q1 ’12 in the sense that it reprises a classic Dunk Low SB palette, but in the case of the ‘Mocha’ Bruins, this means they’re way ahead of all the other such reprisals because the 2004 OG Mocha already gave birth to 07′s ‘Mocha Tweed’ or ‘Mushroom’.  These Bruins are somewhere in between thanks to a chocolate brown suede upper with beige Swoosh, black foxing and white vulc sole.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via N-SB

Earlier today, Sneaker News scooped you on a ‘Below the Line’ Blazer Low SB that you can only get at Nike SB retailers while teasing you that another in-store exclusive lowtop has also just popped up.  And with no further ado, the newest Nike SB Zoom Bruin: a Binary Blue suede design whose golden Ginger textile accents have these leaning toward the various jeanswear themes we’ve seen executed in recent months.  But rather than trying to replicate another item, this pair’s style is fairly effortless and a suitable punctuation to perhaps a wider variety of styles without details like rivets or leather patches.  Just good old fashioned two-toned skateboarding beauty, and you can find it right now at Nike SB retailers like Primitive.

Nike SB Zoom Bruin – Khaki – Boulder

NIKE SB BRUIN KHAKI BOULDER WHITE Nike SB Zoom Bruin Khaki Boulder

Owing to the silhouette’s 1972 DOB, the Nike SB Zoom Bruin has featured almost exclusively simple colorways since being introduced in 2010′s relatively flashy Supreme collaboration.  The only pair departing from the vamp’s natural two-toned blocking was a camouflage pair from last holiday season, and while these new Zoom Bruin SBs aren’t as elaborate, their mix of brown tones and the frayed denim swoosh makes for a look that’s just as rugged in its own right.  Click through to see more angles and pick these up at Nike SB sources like Flatspot.

Nike SB August 2011 Footwear

nike sb august 2011 footwear summary Nike SB August 2011 Footwear
Unless you’re the person in your area who decided to parlay the information superhighway into a plush career walking your wealthy neighbors dogs, August is the only month of the year that lacks a significant (read: time off from work) holiday.  National Dog Day is on the 26th of next month, but you won’t have to wait nearly that long for the next shipment of Nike SB footwear, which happens to include a birthday celebration in the form of the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 5 debut.  The P-Rod 5 will release in two Chicago Bulls-style LunarLon-cushioned colorways, the Blazer Low SB and recently revived Zoom Harbor SB filling in for the vulcanized sole side of things for the V-Rod and P-Rod set to take a month off.  Also riding an autoclaved sole is the Zoom Stefan Janoski SB, which looks a bit different this month thanks to the ‘Boat Shoe’ variant with its unprecedented heel lace on the Dark Oak edition, a Jetstream pair keeping with the sleeker OG design.  Last but not least are the Dunk Mid Pro SB in black and white with a gum sole and the ‘Tiffany’ Koston 1s, and you can see images of all of these when you click on the jump below.  Let us know which pairs you plan to purchase and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their availibility.
