Just as is the case with Omar Salazar’s long-lost signature, there’s another former regular in the Nike SB rotation that had been away for several months that’ll be returning as part of the November 2011 drop. The Nike SB Zoom FP is back in a simply satisfying colorway in line with Swoosh skateboarding’s recent leanings, their black suede uppers offered a softer than usual golden accent shade thanks to the careful use of grey on the ankle collar and forefoot midsole. The Future Primitive is back and perhaps better than ever; are you excited to see these available along with Nike SB’s monthly releases? With Eric Koston’s first Nike SB signature sneaker and the crazy Kobe Bryant collabo are getting a ton of attention at the moment, you may have forgotten about the other Swoosh skateboarding shoe to which Koston was attached. But just look back in the history books (or read through the Sneaker News archives) and you’ll find that Koston was the man of the hour when the “Technical without all the bells and whistles,” Nike SB Zoom FP hit retailers late last year. Most of the colorways since then have been dark but here’s a new Future Primitive that looks dope in a mix of white and gold with a stripe on the forefoot midsole to suggest gum rubber.
