Nike SB wished its fans Feliz Navidad when images of a new Corona-colored Stefan Janoski signature surfaced last December, but might there be two contrast-piped white Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski releases for May 2012? If that yellow and blue-accented edition drops sometime in the next few weeks, the answer would be ‘yes’ now that this new pair in white canvas has come through with all Obsidian accents. These are basically identical to the ‘Corona’-nicknamed sample except for that earlier design’s yellow foxing; are these better as a simple almost Yankees-like pinstriped look than that other style reminiscent of one of Mexico’s best-selling beers? Let us know when you click through for more images of this new Zoom Stefan Janoski SB and find yours at retailers like Premier.

You’ll find no greater example of the power of boat shoe DNA injected into a hybrid sneaker than the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski. Stef’s SB sigs are everywhere you look these days, their classic lines and typically subdued colorways finding a perfect balance between everyday skate use and a casual compliment to your wardrobe. With all of the neutral releases we’ve seen on this silo so far, the mix of Army Olive ballistic nylon and black suede from Hong Kong’s 8FIVE2 skate shop is one of the most eye-catching so far. They dropped in Asia a short while back and are now available to a wider audience thanks to the Quickstrike stock available now at Caliroots.

The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski is widely considered a great summertime sneaker, so what happens when you pair it with a colorway that looks like it could represent a tropical beach scene? This upcoming release pairs a Birch suede upper with Clear Jade accents to provide another perspective on the pastel blue-green range that’s been so popular this year (‘South Beach’ LeBrons, Mint Candy from Nike Basketball’s Easter and 2012 All-Star collections, etc). The soft jade hue is already acting as a ‘neutral’ of sorts here, so a sandy suede upper has these ready to match with almost anything aside from other greens. Toss them in with your summer luggage and you’re good to go, and more images follow the jump below. Photos: Kasina

Nike SB is headed for a major restructuring in the months to come, but before all the signature models get pushed to mall retailers for wider distribution, here’s a set of them that you can only get in-store at select skate shops. That means that while you can see how the ‘Bonsai’ hemp theme has been remastered in suede on this Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski ’4/20′ colorup, you’ll only be able to get your hands on them in-store at an SB retailer. Check out a bunch of additional images below, let us know how these compare to the high times Nike SB has enjoyed each of the past two Aprils and look for yours ‘Below the Line’ exclusively at shops like Premier.

We’ve known for some time now to expect the ‘Bonsai’-style Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski as an April release and this year’s considerably lower profile nod at the 4/20 ‘holiday’ relative to the past two years’ Bratrud-penned Dunk Highs. There’s also another one on the way for the fourth month, a model somewhat close to his recent collaboration with Hong Kong’s 8FIVE2, but perhaps Takashi Hosokawa’s first SB Dunk Low from 2003 is a better comparison with its mix of black suede and leather along with gold Swoosh and midsole. Have a closer look at these after the jump and look for them at Nike SB retailers like Premier.

Photos of a couple new pairs of his Nike SB signatures this February revealed that Stefan Janoski was on the opposite side of the Pacific from his northern California home, and now we’re seeing the first of those previewed pairs arrive at select retailers. The 8FIVE2 x Nike SB Stefan Janoski Premium Quickstrike combines black suede and soles with a unique olive nylon side that can look quite different depending on the lighting. They also have the store’s logo on their sockliner, an ironic finisher for the Hong Kong shop whose own website still bears no mention of their SB account. So you won’t be able to simply log on to the internet and have these imported straight from the source, but they are arriving at select skate shops like Fifty Fifty as we speak.

Nike SB must’ve heard Joe Rogan is taping his next special on April 20th, because a date responsible for each of the last two years’ biggest Dunk SB releases is rapidly approaching with but a single subdued Stefan Janoski signature set to commemorate the occasion. So instead of waiting for the understated Nike SB Stefan Janoski ’4/20′, ChosenCartels opted for a MacGyver’d ‘Skunk’ setup that mimics the first of Todd Bratrud’s infamous herbal-infused collabos. Let us know if you think these measure up to the 2010 Dunk High SBs, last year’s ‘Cheech & Chong’ drop and the whole history of hemp-built and -inspired SB Dunks, and stick with Sneaker News for the latest customs. via N-SB

Every April, Nike SB fans eagerly await the special edition 4/20 release that for the last few years, has been one of the highlights for Nike SB’s yearly output. But with Nike SB going through quite a transitional phase, there hasn’t been much news of a special edition SB Dunk, although we will be treated to a ‘Hemp 4/20′ version of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski inspired by the green colorway of the ’04 trio of SB Dunks. April’s still a solid month, with the Deep Burgundy SB Dunk High, four Janoskis, and a slew of other skate-friendly releases like the Team Edition in Old Royal, and the Red/White Zoom Koston One, so check out the Nike SB April 2012 Footwear roll-out and look out for these at SB retailers soon as they’ve already begun to hit store shelves.
