Following the Liberty collab, it’s been the lowtop version that’s dominated recent Toki news. Nike Sportswear’s vulc-soled chukka sneaker is back with a patterned style that resembles something you might expect from the London fabric makers, but this new Nike Toki Textile is an in-house design. You might also see a bit of Parra influence in the palette utilized on the Toki Textile’s flowy upper; have a closer look after the jump and let us know what you think, then pre-order in advance of the May 2013 shipment from Titolo.

Joining the AF1 Downtown and WMNS Air Max 90 in their use of the latest Liberty London pattern to grace a Nike Sportswear capsule is the third design we’ve seen with this floral look. The Liberty x Nike WMNS Toki are inverted relative to the AM90s, the tonal floral pattern taking up the entire upper save the suede heels and beige Swooshes. Click through for more angles so you can properly assess their place in this spring’s Libety x NSW releases and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

The Nike Toki has been expanding its horizons with new treatments and the upcoming lowtop silhouette, and these new pairs show the value of getting back to basics. The only real flourishes on these new Toki Mid Premiums are the two-toned laces and a bit of ripstop nylon on the heel, the latter of which is a subtle eye-catching element as juxtaposed against the rich natural feel of brown and black leathers. Simple but still exuding a stylish character, this new Size? exclusive duo represents the epitome of a great low-key lifestyle sneaker.

Completing the third leg of Size?’s exclusive ‘Geometric’ pack is this duo of Nike Toki Premiums. Following up on similar Air Max Light and All Court 2 Lows, these latest Tokis from Nike Sportswear break apart the ever popular red/brown harvest time look, making for two pairs with minimal mixing. Their key element is an unprecedented tessellation on the heel area, a first for this model and a far cry from the pale blue pairs this same store offered back in the spring. These are now available at all Size? stores and online, and you can see them from a few more angles after the jump.

The Nike Toki has been lauded in the past for being one of the cleanest Swoosh styles out there, generally keeping things pretty simple in a host of premium materials. If you’re into the whole ‘keeping things simple’ side though then you’re in for a bumpy ride come next year, with this Nike Toki sample from 2013 promising at least one very bold colorway and the introduction of a jumbo ‘NIKE’ script across the side a la the Nike WMNS Outbreak retro. Check back with Sneaker News to find out whether the Nike Toki makes a full on transition to this bolder style and if you like what you see grab the pair now from 2l2q503 on eBay.

Three years ago, Nike Sportswear combined the Sabaku chukka with time-tested Blazer DNA to create a hybrid so seamless we don’t typically think of them as anything other than one of NSW’s best original designs. The Nike Toki takes on even more of the first Swoosh basketball shoe’s characteristics with this latest round, a quartet of Vintage series releases whose ‘suede plus Sail’ formula echoes the most common template for VNTG Blazer drops. The red, green and blue colorups are a reminder of 2009′s Terminator and Blazer ‘Vintage Glory’ drop and bring along a grey fourth as a bonus, and all four are up for pre-order at End with an October ship date.
