After a relatively quiet period following April’s AFC East pack, the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max has burst back onto the scene with a couple of explosive new colorways. Following up on a bold Miami Dolphins-like color scheme, this vaguely Seahawks-ish Blue Glow and Volt combo adds a darker dimension thanks to black on the midsole, branding and tongue. The overall effect is quite a bit more dramatic than some of the simpler colorways that’d released earlier, so will this be your first Trainer 1.3 Max purchase now that they’re available at Finish Line? Let us know after you’ve had a chance to see more photos below and stick with Sneaker News for more hot back to school choices.

You might expect the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max to be nearing the end of its product cycle as we recently eclipsed the one year anniversary of the dope NCAA pigskin-themed ‘Rivalry Pack’, but this new pair proves conclusively that there are plenty of dope styles yet to be issued. The Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe’s shimmering Fresh Water upper has a captivating aquatic look and adds in some ‘Dolphins’ for good measure with a Total Orange Max Air cushion. They’re another reminder that the first Nike x NFL season is soon to get underway, and you can use the rest of the summer to get in peak condition with these new Trainer 1.3s available now at Finish Line.

Nike already knew LeBron James was going to be an all-around pain in the rear for defenses when it designed the Nike Zoom 20-5-5 years ago. Those numbers have ballooned to around 30-15-8 in the 2012 NBA Playoffs, and with the Heat up 2-1 against the OKC Thunder, LeBron might add a ’1′ to the end of that stat-line to signify his first NBA Title. During shootaround earlier today, LeBron James was seen warming up in a pair of the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe – not the Dunkmans we showed you earlier today, but this high-energy Volt/Royal/Red colorway dubbed the ‘Hazardous On The Court’, which features a LeBron-centric logo on the tongue depicting his all-around game (scoring, passing, ‘bounding). More shots of the kicks below, so take a look and let us know what you think! Photos: jim_ice

Colored air bubbles are always a boon to any Air Max equipped release, especially when said air bubble extends the full length of the shoe. On this new colorway of the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max we see just that, with the photo blue applique on bottom giving them a particularly wet look. Of course let’s not forget what’s going on on the upper half of the shoe, where the Hyperfuse paneling is mixed up in a set of silvers and greys for an equally sleek look. Follow us after the jump for the full shots of this new Nike Trainer 1.3 Max, which is available for you now at Nikestore.

Nike Sportswear has a ’Volt Pack’ of classic basketball shoes on the way, presumably in connection with a summer-long celebration of the 2012 London Olympics and their occasion commemorating two decades since the original Dream Team, but could you build a similar set with an entirely different backstory? Nike Training says yes with this new trio of black, grey, white and neon designs from their latest releases including the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max, Trainer 1.3 Low and the recently released Vapor Trainer. These don’t have the kind of uniformity found on that upcoming NSW retro series, which turns out to be all for the best and gives each pair of these a distinct identity beyond its unique lines. Check out all three in greater detail after the jump below and let us know which pair(s) you’ll be copping from select retailers like MIA’s Mr. R Sports.
