The Nike V-Series favorite the Nike Air Vengeance has been weaving in and out of release calenders for a while now, popping up every couple of seasons with a new edition; Lunar here, VNTG there. The next in that lineage is the Nike Vengeance SD, a reworking that sees an interesting slice of suede slipped in between the upper and the sole kit on the back end. We’ve been treated to LunarLon and Max Air upgrades, but the time is nigh for retro releases from the original Nike V-Series. Nike Sportswear set the time machine for twenty-five years ago and came back with the Vengeance, Vortex and Vector in a trio of chilled-out colorways. Each of these three is defined by its blue accents yet they all look quite different. The Vengeance and Vortex both feature quite a bit of grey but the latter adds some springy green while the Vector bears a striking resemblance to the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Sea Crystals’ from twenty-oh-four.
