The Nike WMNS Air Max 1 continues to get outfitted with more and more looks branching off from the OG blocking. The Liberty set has been offering up those styles for some time now, but every once in a while Nike’s in-house team chips in a few as well. Such is the case with this release, a birch and bright citrus combination with a wavy graphic stretched across the metallic gold mudguard. The last time we saw the Nike WMNS Air Max 1 get a touch of silver it was on this red based colorway. The Swoosh team has upped the ante on the metallic look this time around, painting much more of the sneaker with the shiny treatment. The WMNS side will get plenty of Nike Air Max 1 VNTG releases to along with the men’s pairs that are on deck. Pictured here is the first trio of releases to arrive under that designation. There’s a red, blue, and black pair that each put on the old-school patina via different measures. The black for example sports a midsole yellowed to a greater degree than the others.
