The Nike Air Flight ’89 is no stranger to colorways referencing the Air Jordan 4. We’ve seen a Toro look, and models equipped with cement speckling on the midsole, but perhaps the closest, albiet unofficial, nod to Mike’s fourth signature would be this black, grey and red pair. With a color blocking almost identical to the famous retro, the shoe sees a black base, grey tongue and grey speckling on the midsole while a vibrant red hits the lining and outsole. Another exciting Nike Retro effort in 2013 will be the return of Gary Payton’s signature sneaker line, starting with the Nike Zoom Flight ’98 ‘The Glove’. We’ve already seen the 2013 rendition of the OG, but today we get a first look at a new colorway in Grey/Orange which may or may not be a tribute to Payton’s days with the Oregon State Beavers. In any case, we can certainly expect at least two colorways (these and the OG) to return when the Gloves are ready to hit store shelves, so check out the extra shot below and chime in with your opinions.
