NIKE ZOOM HUARACHE 2K4 The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 is a basketball sneaker from Nike originally released in 2004 (as referenced by the name). The sneaker is recalled by many as one of Nike’s greatest basketball designs, and was worn early on by the likes of Kobe Bryant. The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 features a soft inner sleeve in its design, the signature element of the Huarache technology.

Around this time of year, the upcoming “Year of the-” releases begin to rear their heads out, and although we’ve already seen detailed shots of this snaked-out Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4, this upcoming Nike Retro drop should give us a hint as to what’s to come out of the Nike Sportswear/Basketball department. Combining a very China-specific Red/Purple, the Huarache 2K4 “Snake” features some sick detailing on the toe-guard and heel counter with a medallion at the tongue and “fangs” seen through the upper Huarache hole. Any predictions as to what the upcoming Nike “Year of the Snake” releases will look like?

A little over a week ago, the Nike Sportswear ‘Dream Team’ Pack released after most stores missed the originally publicized July 1st drop date. That quartet of classic basketball silhouettes celebrates USA Basketball’s dominance with colorways like the ones you’ll see on display in London in a short while, its counterpart opting for an equally summer-friendly but altogether different appearance. The ‘Black Volt’ pack‘s approach is most apparent on the nearly all-neon Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4, though there’s no mistaking the black nubuck that makes up the majority of the Shox BB4, Air Force 180 and Air Force 1 High for a USAB style. Finshing the set is the Air More Uptempo that had previously been slated for a House of Hoops exclusive, but you’ll find all five of these available now at select NSW stockists on the revised July 21st release date. via ITSB

Did the switcheroo Nike pulled last weekend still having you dreaming of these Olympic themed sneakers rather than holding them in your hands or better yet wearing them on your feet? At the last minute the Nike Sportswear ‘Dream Team’ pack pictured here was apparently pushed back, with a handful of boutique shops across the country adhering to the original 7/1 release date where the majority of them were forced to wait. Anyone here catch the Dream Team documentary that went live some time ago? Of course you did. This Sunday, get a Dream Team redux because the Nike Sportswear “Dream Team” Collection hits Nike Basketball retailers this Sunday, July 1st, acting as a preface the two months worth of Olympic-inspired footwear. Might as well start with the shoes that acted as the spark for the massive flame, so cop the Air Force 180, Nike Air More Uptempo, and/or the Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4 tomorrow (some spots have reported a July 7th release) and see what’s available for the taking on eBay.

Ain’t nothing like a jolt of volt to get your day going, so feast your eyes on the neon-blasted Zoom Huarache 2k4 of the Nike Basketball Retro ‘Volt Pack’; like the three models we showed you last night, the Zoom Huarache 2k4 features a basic Black/Volt one-two punch, although this version clearly opts to be the visual standout of the bunch with the tonal composition. In addition, these are set for a release at Nike Basketball retailers alongside its three Volt Pack bandmates on July 15th.
