As was the case with the Hyperflight, we see here that the Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor isn’t quite done with the superhuman theme yet. These don’t have the overt ‘Lighting’/Kevin Durant connection as in the case of the Hyper Blue joints, or snake graphics on the translucent sole like the obvious Kobe nod, but in the context of these other releases, it would appear the abstract pattern on this Blackened Blue edition connects with the Galaxy-fied LeBron edition. Have a closer look after the jump, then grab yours at select Nike Basketball retailers including Eastbay.

Further expanding the Nike ‘Superhuman’ Collection is this new Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor. Cloaked in Night Stadium with a Pure Platinum Swoosh, this Kobe Bryant-inspired colorway sandwiches itself in Volt in addition to adding x-ray vision snake graphics borrowed from the Mamba’s recent Hyperflights to the translucent sole. These superhero-themed Hyperdisruptors are the only pairs to date with the see-thru soles and it really takes this appropriately named aggressive design to a new level, which you can examine carefully in more images below before buying from select retailers like Eastbay.

Singled out as the go-to model for March Madness, the Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor is about to experience a rapid acceleration. Here’s one that displays that surging energy in the form of lightning bolts peeking through a translucent sole, as the Zoom Hyperdisruptor mixes Hyper Blue, Poison Green and Blackened Blue combo that you can’t help but connect to the Kevin Durant ‘Lightning’ Hyperflight from that modern classic’s ‘Superhero’ pack. The Hyperflight is on target for the Sweet Sixteen, but you can strike now with this Hyper Blue Hyperdisruptor available now at Nike Basketball retailers like Oneness.

Another example of its explosive design being treated to a monochromatic colorway, the Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor moves down from the -800s into the -700 color family for an equally explosive result. After touching down in in Total Orange over the weekend, this incredible mix of lightweight breathability and low block-ready robustness lives up to the shades Vivid Sulfur and Electric Yellow. Nike Basketball hasn’t issued a ton of all-yellow releases over the years, so let us know what you think of this sunny design and grab yours today from Eastbay.

The latest Nike Basketball model to display the merits of monochromatic colorblocking is also the division’s newest design. The Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor dials the official color code back to just two shades, but we count at least five different variations on the vibrant Total Orange hue. It’s the kind of look we’ve seen executed with great success on the Hyperdunk and Hyeprfuse series, and adds a level of contemporary dynamism that’s not as evident in the more traditional team oriented colorways. Does that make this the best Zoom Hyperdisruptor yet? Let us know after you’ve seen more below, then find your pair available at select retailers including Finish Line.

Nike Basketball’s core lineup has been consistent for the past four-years plus: the ‘big three’ signature series plus Hyperdunk, Hyperfuse and a rotating cast of supporting players. The Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor fits into that last category, its affordable design also likely to draw comparisons to the Kobe 8 System (or even Hyperdunk 2011 Elite) thanks to the external heel counter arch. The heavily ventilated construction also owes a bit to the Hyperfuse but is far more angular in its presentation than the 2012 version of that shoe, so have a closer look below and look for these soon at select Nike Basketball retailers.

Joining the Hyperchaos in Nike Basketball’s supporting cast is a new performance model with a design some might liken to a hightop Zoom Kobe VII. The Nike Zoom Hyperdisruptor has a Hyperfuse upper, similar externalized counter arch and angular tooling on the Zoom-cushioned sole like the ZK7, but the more robust build and aggressive name suggest they’re intended for larger but still athletic players who alternate between the perimeter and low block. And at only 267 grams they’re tremendously lightweight and an impressive technical specimen at an affordable price point; let us know what you think after seeing more below.
