NBA Feet: Weekend Recap – 3/2 – 3/4

nba feet 3 2 3 5 NBA Feet: Weekend Recap 3/2 3/4

It was another great weekend of NBA games, and the amped-up level of intensity was definitely noticeable throughout all the contests that went down over the last three days. Teams tend to ‘step it up’ after the All-Star Weekend, and that was certainly the case for Sunday’s match-up between the Knicks and Celtics; Rajon Rondo quieted trade-rumor controversy by putting up one of the most impressive triple-doubles in history while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. The much-publicized match-up between Rondo and Lin took attention away to arguably the most un-discussed All-Star of the year in Deron Williams, who dropped a Heinz-ketchup bottle against the Charlotte Bobcats whilst rocking the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low. The Masked Mamba remained undefeated as he slipped through the Kings and Heat while wearing the Kobe VII in the Home Lakers colorway. Some nice LeBron 9 sightings were worth noting, like Eric Bledsoe wearing the Black/Red, Ty Lawson with the ‘Bright Mango’, and LeBron with the Ironman-esque Fairfax H.S. PE. Following Bobby Simmons’ return last week, another 10-day contract player that deserves attention is Gerald Green, the former top-prospect and Dunk Contest champ who joined the New Jersey Nets while wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. DeMarcus Cousin liked his Rising Stars PE so much that he, like Jeremy Lin, wore his Hyperdunk 2011 PE against the Los Angeles Lakers. The New York Knicks got back on track with a full and healthy roster last night as the home team hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers to kick off the post-All Star Weekend session of the NBA Season. For Lin, this game was particularly important; after his worst outing against Miami last Thursday, Jeremy needed to regain his confidence and prove that the only fluke about his game was in fact that poor outing against the Heat. Jeremy answered critics by dropping 19 points, 13 assists, and most importantly, giving up just one turnover, and did so while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PE issued to him for the Rising Stars Challenge. However, Lin wore the special Hyperfuse Low iD for that game, opting to debut the Hyperdunk 2011 PE last night. Will Lin continue to rock this PE? Will it even release? We’ll keep you updated on the matter. via Yahoo

Did Charles Barkley just make as turrible a decision as the 29 other teams who failed to see the greatness in New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin?  Team Chuck lost out on their chance to secure Linsanity, who was drafted to Team Shaq for the newly revised NBA Rising Stars Challenge, where Lin will join Knicks teammate Landry Fields among other standout rookie and second-year stars.  And if Nike Basketball decided they wanted to create another campout line as big as the galaxy itself, all it would take is a quick-fire release date in New York for this new Nike Hyperdunk 2011 Low Jeremy Lin PE.  This NYK’d-out player exlusive honors Lin’s meteoric rise to fame with a ‘J.L. Soph’ tongue tag in step with the ‘Galaxy’/'Big Bang’ signature releases, and this morning’s NBA TV-telecast practice session suggests Jeremy’s pair will be broken in by game time.  Have a closer look after the jump and let us know how this pair you’ll see during the game tonight on TNT compares to the ones they’ll showcase on Sunday at the All-Star Game.  via Nike Basketball Taiwan/SC

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low – Deron Williams Away PE

nike zoom hyperdunk 2011 low deron williams away pe 2 Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low Deron Williams Away PE

Just where does Deron Williams fit into ‘Linsanity’? With the Nets being very close to the Lin-led sensation at Madison Square Garden, they’re definitely feeling the snub by the local news media, but with the Nets and D-Will being Jeremy Lin’s first victims of this unprecedented streak of greatness, at least they got some press, right? But before we can crown Lin as an elite point guard, he needs to produces a full season of top-flight performance, similar to how Deron Williams has for six seasons. D-Will is good for 20 and 8 night-in and night-out, with the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low being his weapon of choice. You can cop this ‘PE’ release right now on Eastbay so take a look at the extra shot below and let us know what you think.

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low – Deron Williams Home PE

nike hyperdunk 2011 low dw 6 Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low Deron Williams Home PE

Among the biggest single events from the last and arguably best ever NBA regular season was the Nets-Jazz trade that sent All-Star point guard Deron Williams to New Jersey just in time for a new building and possibly a new superstar teammate or two.  But the struggling Nets haven’t been able to pry Dwight Howard away from Orlando and currently sit on the outside of the Eastern Conference playoff hunt, so at least D-Will has a solid rotation of Nike Basketball player exclusives to provide some stability during these trying times.  This Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low would suitably match any of the NJN uniforms, but despite the relatively dark character of this grey and navy design, they were built to facilitate home games in Newark.  Take a look at what might be the very last PE ever produced for games at Prudential Center, and grab yours now from Eastbay.
