Over the Christmas weekend, we gave you a look at a Pau Gasol Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PE that he laced up in for the NBA tip off that emulated the colorway Kobe’s Christmas pair. And while this Low edition of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 isn’t a PE by any means, we wouldn’t be surprised to see players like Pau rock them going forward thanks to the obvious Lakers combo. Heads have been patiently waiting for the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low to finally hit US retailers, and hopefully the recent uptick in images reflects a closer date of arrival. The high version of the latest from the Hyperdunk line has already proven its worth with earth shattering colorways like the Blake Griffin “10.0″ Slam Dunk Contest PE, but things have been relatively quiet on the low front. Here’s a new look for the little brother version, the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low, which features a familiar look for anyone who’s suited up in Swoosh sneaks before. Seriously though, when has the ‘bred’ colorway ever been bad? Even as much as the mid-cut versions have been leading the way for Nike Basketball’s non-signature line since this summer’s debut, we’ve been waiting to see a single Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low hit retailers. A few previews prove that a wide variety of colorways are on tap, and the simplest of them all has popped up in some new images here today. This white and black Hyperdunk 2011 Low looks like it’d be a natural fit for Tony Parker but the NBA’s labor troubles suggest they’re more likely to pop up as a generic ‘home’ shoe at your local high school or college before you see them on the hardwood at AT&T Center. Blake Griffin just did a Jumpman in the buff for ESPN’s nudie magazine day, and it looks like the Nike Basketball model to which he’s most closely connected will also be stripping down soon for public approval. Check out this Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low Team Bank colorway that appears slated for a Q1 2012 release but might be something you’d want to have soon with roundball season right around the corner. The royal blue pair you’ll see in more images including some on-foot looks after the jump gives a good indication of what to expect from the red and purple joints it’s beside in the image above. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 is hitting its stride, showing up on Nike iD for customization and also getting some special releases from Nike Sportswear. But what is a Dunk high without a Dunk low? Fans of the original Dunk series know the importance of versatility, and as many of us expected it was only a matter of time before we saw the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 in a low form as well. Unfortunately it looks to be quite some time, with the colorways shown here lined up for a Summer 2012 release. Blake Griffin’s star power is through the roof right at the moment, because you’ve probably seen the Clippers standout in plenty of television advertisements since his breakout 2010-11 season. Blake completely took over the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, winning the Dunk Contest, performing some sick dunks during the game, earning a spot on the Western All-Star squad, and debuting the Nike Hyperdunk 2011 during the game. While were’ eagerly anticipating the release of the next installation of the Hyperdunk 2011 legacy, here’s a look at it’s lower-cut brethren – the Nike Hyperdunk 2011 Low. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Low features a the same outsole construction, lightweight Flywire-stabilized upper shell, pronounced heel-cup, and pointed tongue.
