It’s been all but silent since we saw the ‘Galaxy’ NBA All-Star PE back in February, but that doesn’t mean the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer is done for the season. Quite to the contrary, in fact, as this rugged Hyperfuse design is well-equipped to handle the rigors of summertime streetball. These Wolf Grey Hyperenforcers add Solar Red and Concord accents for a wild look that’ll turn heads in the heat, but it’s the XDR outsole that’ll keep these around through the dog days. Check them out up close below, then grab a pair from Nike Basketball retailers like Finish Line.

Before the weekend’s main event tips off, here’s a quick preview of the Nike 2012 All-Star Game ‘Galaxy’ PE’s you’ll see in action. Just yesterday, we showed you Deron Williams’ Hyperdunk 2011 Low PE, but joining that cast of Nike characters is the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer, the Air Max Hyperdunk 2011 in two colorways, the Zoom Brave V, and Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme. Nike’s space-travel inspired ‘Galaxy’ theme has already been praised as one of the best sneaker concepts ever, so do these PE’s make that statement stronger? Or would you cop those Galaxy laces to match your Galaxy socks? Check out all the PE’s below and be sure to catch them all during the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, which is set to tip off in just a bit.

Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer – Black – White – Stripes

nike zoom hyperenforcer black white stripes 1 Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer Black White Stripes

The most recent Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer to make a splash was the ‘Think Pink’ version, a bold breast cancer awareness colorway. This upcoming Hyperenforcer goes the opposite way color wise grabbing just black and white for the upper, but still manages to be unique with the striped look on the various panels of the shoe. The result really shows how far the the black and white approach can be stretched given a little geometric detail, with the patterning not quite reaching Freegums levels but still standing out. Hit the jump for some extra shots of the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer in black and white. via Kenlu

Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer iD Samples

nike zoom hyperenforcer id samples 1 Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer iD Samples

Last week was an absolutely massive one for NIKEiD, as the Swoosh’s online customization service launched new models including the Zoom KD IV (plus its YOTD template), Special Field Boot and the return of the Air Max+ 2009, followed a day later by Elephant print options for the latest Air Force 1 iD limited engagement.  It was a big couple of days, but arguably none of those shoes came with more options than the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer iD that also launched on January 31st.  These offer a variety of colors in relatively simple blocking patterns, but the big draw is the unprecedented option to choose between Zoom and Max Air cushioning in the heel.  Nike Basketball tends to give models like these unique names, but in a year when we’ve seen the Zoom Kobe VII and Air Jordan 2012 take swappable cushioning units to new heights, it feels right to have a silhouette that you can build from the ground up.  Check out a few more sample designs after the jump and let us know which colors you applied to the Zoom Hyperenforcer on NIKEiD.

Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer ‘Think Pink’ – Available @ NikeStore

nike zoom hyperenforcer think pink available 9 Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer Think Pink Available @ NikeStore

The symbolism of pink ribbons in the fight against breast cancer began in the early ’90s when the Susan G. Komen Foundation handed them out at a New York City charity race, a look that was solidified when the Breast Cancer Research Foundation established the ribbon as its official symbol a couple years later in 1993. That we still see the inverted loop means there’s still work to be done in eradicating this potential threat to your mothers, sisters, wives and friends, and Nike Basketball contributes by both raising awareness and money for the Kay Yow WBCA charity with special releases like this Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer ‘Think Pink’ colorway. Available now on NikeStore in a full mens size run, this Pinkfire Zoom Hyperenforcer will give you a unique on-court look that’ll provide a reminder for curious onlookers of one of humanity’s great modern challenges. Click through to see more of these and let us know how they compare to previous ‘Think Pink’ Nike Basketball releases.

Yes this is a pink sneaker, no it is not another aim at cramming the Valentine’s day palette down your throat. Lest you get confused at this pepto-pair popping up so close to February 14th, it’s actually a part of Nike’s ongoing participation in the Breast Cancer Awareness movement. A tribute to the late NCAA coach Kay Yow, this Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer puts its bold looks to good use through an important cause, the notion of which is solidified by the ribbon logo hitting towards the ankle area of the shoe. In 2011, Nike solidified its commitment to increase the ‘green’ effort by utilizing more sustainable materials and doubling its use of recycled polyester, using approximately 440 million PET plastic bottles. It’s alarming to think that the bottle of spring water you drank months ago is now part of a college basketball jersey – it might’ve even been on the court of the 2011 Carrier Classic! This morning, in a special media event in New York City, Nike unveiled the Hyper Elite Platinum Basketball uniforms – a high-performance uniform system for the nation’s premier collegiate-level ballers that touches on a broader, more significant global mission of environmental efficiency. The Hyper Elite Platinum uniforms are engineered for optimal performance, with a super-lightweight construction, bonded seams, reflective materials and a super-sleek platinum design providing an on-the-court visual masterpiece that’ll surely stir up the oohs and aahs from college basketball spectators.

State of the art fabrics like Nike Sphere and Nike Aerographics provide structural support and allow for full range of motion, with laser perforations and four-way stretch woven design giving the shorts an unparalleled comfort and style. You can expect the Nike Hyper Elite Platinum Basketball Uniforms to go live in late January on select Nike-outfitted colleges like Arizona, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Syracuse, UConn, UNC, Baylor (women’s), and UConn (women’s) – nine teams that have all won National Championships while proudly donning the Swoosh. In addition to the uniforms, Nike presented the all-new Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer, which combines the revolutionary Flywire support with the game-changing Hyperfuse material. Check out this first-hand viewing of the Nike Hyper Elite Platinum Basketball Uniforms and the special launch event in New York City and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on Nike Basketball’s latest product technology, footwear, and apparel.
