Did you catch Hyperfuse 2011 designer Leo Chang during yesterday’s live chat on Facebook? Fun fact; the design for the Hyperfuse 2011 was originally the design of the Air Shox Hyperballer. So, if the Hyperfuse 2011 Low is somewhat of a descendant of the Air Shox Hyperballer as well! It’s all good, because they’re all in the same family, so it’s up to you to choose what style of performance fits your game. Shox, for example, is a niche shoe, as is the low-cut construction, so if you’ve been rocking out on low-top basketball sneakers, this sweet new White/Varsity Royal-Sport Red colorway just hit Nikestore. More images await you below, so take a peek and let us know what style of basketball shoes you prefer.

Regular Sneaker News readers have seen Nike Basketball officially unveil the Hyperfuse 2011 this week along with a few colorways hitting retail this month, but those with a crisp memory might see the above-pictured model and wonder what happened to the models previewed back in March. What we expected back then to be the Q4 lineup of Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Lows has turned out to either be a sample or some other Hyperfuse construction, the difference between them as simple yet drastic as the placement of the side panel Swooshes. But the Photo Blue and Volt colorway having been previewed earlier this week, you have a good idea of what’s in store, and with more images after the jump you’ll be well equipped to make the decision to buy them at a store like FinishLine.

Sneaker News just brought you a look at several Hyperfuse 2011 colorways set to hit retail just before the turn of the year, but what about its lowtop counterpart? Check out these five new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Lows, a quintet that shows how much more aggressive the Hyperfuse sequel can look when two-toned colorblocking is applied. Each of these uses a black ‘underlay’ (save the black joints that opt for grey) that seems to emphasize those sections’ angular design, and seeing one in a Celtic green makes us wonder if Rajon Rondo might break these out for playoff time like last year’s. Click through to get a better look, let us know which pair is your fave and stick with Sneaker News for word on the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low release dates. via CK.
