NIKE ZOOM HYPERFUSE 2011 The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 is a basketball sneaker designed by Leo Chang, so named for its use of Nike's seamless Hyperfuse construction on the upper paneling. It goes without saying that once the NBA season starts up this year, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 will be one of the sneakers that sees the most on court action. Billed as the next big thing from Nike Basketball, this super ligthweight shoe uses the three layered Hyperfuse material on the upper that is pliable, ventilated, and of course lighter than air. Fortunately you don’t have to wait for the season to start up to get your hands on a pair, like the White/Sport Red and Black/Varsity Royal editions featured here. Take a full look at each of these colorways for the new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 after the jump, and let us know in the comments which one you prefer. Both of these can be had right now at Eastbay for those of you who are on board with the Hyperfuse craze.

Start with a base of cheetah milk (’bout half a gallon, from the looks of it), add a couple falcon quills, a 1/18 scale Lamborghini Murcielago for color and finish with a ninja star, a semi-automatic round, a copy of Olympic gold medal sprinter Allyson Felix, a stopwatch like the ones she regularly pushed and one gold-plated lightning bolt, then press blend Fuse. Wait a second; what the heck are we actually making here?! Well, you might not be able to replicate the same kind of recipe but apparently that combination enters the Nike Innovation Kitchen separately but leaves as the new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011. This new video offers a playful look at how the Hyperfuse 2011 came to be, the entirety of which you can see when you click on the jump below. Let us know how it compares to some of the Swoosh’s legendary ads and stick with Sneaker News for all of the Hyperfuse 2011 release dates.

Nike has been at the forefront of innovation technology for decades, which explains why their products remain at the pinnacle of performance footwear. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 is the second installment of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse line which debuted in July of 2010. The flattened, three-layer material can bend without breaking while offering the utmost in comfort, stability, and breathability, leaving other footwear brands no choice but to follow in the Swoosh footsteps. Nothing against the adidas Crazy Light and it’s mind-boggling sub-10 oz. package, but the Zoom Hyperfuse is the obvious blueprint for the lightweight basketball shoe craze, and again, the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 should be one of the best of the year. This slick new colorway of matte grey, black, and a refreshing mint green is set to release this Holiday 2011 season, so check out the extra shot below and let us know what you think about the color combo. via hoopchina.

Next time someone asks you ‘Who got next?’, Nike Basketball would like you to have the affirmative answer on multiple levels. Reserve the court and stay as long as you can handle it; the next iteration of the Swoosh’s Hyperfuse series will be there to handle anything the asphalt can dish out. This new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 colorway is perhaps the most rugged looking we’ve seen so far, the earthy Iguana uppers accented by Max Orange and black to end up with an outdoorsy feel. And that’s totally appropriate given the Hyperfuse was originally designed with inspiration from Beijing’s outdoor hoop scene. We got our first look at a season that may never be this June when Nike Basketball showed off a bunch of player exclusive colorways for some of their most explosive players. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 was teased in Rudy Gay, Russell Westbrook, Lamar Odom and, of course, Rajon Rondo PE colorways, and now we have a closer look at each pair. Odom and Westbrook’s pairs are two-toned while Rondo and Gay add a third shade for their Swooshes, and we expect all of these to be fairly limited (House of Hoops, perhaps?). Click through to see more photos of all four Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 PEs and grab them well in advance of the retail drop from Kicks-crew.
