The Nike Zoom KD IV train keeps moving forward at insane speeds thanks to the high-octane releases that have hit retailers in just a two-month span. Dropping this Saturday is yet another KD IV instant hit – the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘BHM’; as part of the 2012 Black History Month collection, this heritage-inspired colorway features a unique detailing on the inner lining, Adaptive Fit strap, and the outsole, revealed through the translucent bottom. Throwing the ‘BHM’ into the mix will only make the KD IV one of the most sneakerhead-friendly kicks ever (great ‘collect-able’ nature, generous price-point), and what’s scary is that there’s still a ton of gas left in the tank! Watch for these to hit Nike Basketball retailers this Saturday, or grab a pair now from overseas seller limitedshoes on eBay.

Nike’s Black History Month collections typically do a pretty good job of riding the line between gaudy and elegant. Around this time last year we were treated to a range of black based sneakers with hits of gold swirled in. For the 2012 editions the black base remains, but the accents come in the form of a textile pattern inspired by traditional African art. Of course you’ve already seen what the Nike Zoom KD IV can do with some graphical treatment, so you had to expect the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Black History Month’ would be another slam dunk from Durant’s signature line. Sure enough the sneaker gets the job done, with the intricate geometric patterning spreading throughout the upper and running the full length of the bottoms. Follow us after the jump for the full look and mark you calender for next Saturday, February 11th, when these will show up at top notch spots like Rock City Kicks.
