Kevin Durant has become the face of the newest NBA team in the midwestern United States, but before he helped the once woeful Seattle Sonics rise from the ashes as the phoenix known as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durant left his mark on Austin, Texas with one of the most productive seasons by a freshman in NCAA history.
