The Nike Zoom Kobe VII is one of the most expressive signature sneakers ever released, and for its latest colorway, we get a study on the interconnectivity at play on a championship roster. The ‘Yin Yang’ Zoom Kobe VII has also been called ‘Lakers’ when it looked like two different pairs or ‘Snake Pool’ thanks to the yellow left’s resemblance to that 2009 Hyperdunk Low in Kobe’s honor. The new moniker fits best thanks to a perfectly inverted color scheme that flips purple and gold elements from left to right, and with the NBA’s preseason now underway, you can find this latest Kobe 7 colorway available already from ID4Shoes on eBay.

The grab bag ‘What the Kobe’ was destined for some asymmetry by its very concept, but this newest Nike Zoom Kobe VII colorway could very easily have been two different releases. Instead, we get one standout pair whose purple and gold elements are exactly flipped from left to right. Set against white and grey constants on the sole, they’ve got an (Un-)’Snake Pool’ vibe and give us a pure if unorthodox Lakers colorup shaping up to be a road option for LA away games sometime in the early season. Keep an eye on Sneaker News for both US release info and Kobe’s NBA Feet and check out a new round of images below.
