If you’re thinking that we just saw a Nike Eric Koston SE colorway quite similar to this one pictured above, you’re absolutely right. This new black and white style is a few clicks on the ‘brightness’ continuum away from the Anthracite/Metallc Platinum edition we showed you a couple weeks ago, even featuring the same gum brown outsole peek. The key difference is this one pictured above has a bit crisper contrast, and with its simple colors, might end up an ‘All Day, Every Day’ answer to the Anthracite’s seasonal offering. In any case, this is a go-to skate design you can see in greater detail below, then buy at shops like Flatspot.

Even though the Nike Eric Koston 2 is readily available at retail, it looks like that skater’s first signature sneaker is still sticking around for just a little bit. The Nike Eric Koston randomly showed back up at Nikestore with a “Suede” designation, a kind of curious one given that the official images here definitely show off more of a canvas look. Get extra angles on the Nike Eric Koston pairs right after the jump, let us know what you think about the curious suede designation, and purchase a pair now at Nikestore.

A particular shade of soft blue has been synonymous with Nike Skateboarding since 2005′s collaboration with Diamond Supply Co. resulted in the iconic ‘Tiffany’ Dunk Low SB. The ‘Tiffany blue’ look has been popular in the SB sector in recent years with a variety of other silhouettes taking on the black/aqua look, including this latest Nike Zoom Koston 1. A follow-up to the Paradise Aqua and Slate Blue edition from September ’11, this black suede rendition opts for Crystal Mint hits, and you can find them depicted further below before buying at shops like Premier.

Paul Rodriguez has made it work for several years and is now beyond two, Stefan Janoski excels with both low and midtop designs and now it’s Eric Koston’s turn to have multiple Nike Skateboarding footwear styles on store shelves concurrently. Look for that next spring, when the Nike Eric Koston 2 joins its prequel at select retailers in a variety of no-nonsense colorways like the four collected pairs we have to show you here today. Here we see three different takes on a basic template for the Koston 2, as the upper is cast in one color suede with an accent for branding and an off-colored sole (check the red/white pair closely for its midsole speckles). Meanwhile the Zoom Koston One comes through in a new canvas colorup which features a printed Swoosh to maximize its unique build, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News for release info.

The Sunburst shade of red is playing a significant role in Nike’s F/W12 catalog, adding a vibrant accent to a wide variety of styles, especially within the Sportswear division. Skateboarding has a couple of its own, and interestingly enough, both are claimed by Eric Koston’s first Nike SB signature. The Koston X Heritage did its best Air Max 90 ‘Infared’ impression with this particular shade of red, and now it’s in full force on the midsole of a new Nike Zoom Koston 1 in black suede with select Atomic Green hits. It’s a radioactive look that plays well with all the Halloween themes in the air and you’ll find them available today at retailers like Premier.

Sneaker News conversed with Eric Koston last week on the topic of his second Nike SB signature release, but before that new model arrives, one of the most expressive Nike Zoom Koston 1s to date will hit store shelves. Dropping in the near future will be this new black suede pair whose Sunburst and Atomic Green accents put them in line with a recent Hyperdunk X release, and more generally the heritage of ‘radioactive’-looking sneakers that trace back to the OG Reebok Insta Pump Fury. The Koston 1 is no stranger to early ’90s runners infusions, so have a closer look at this one below and stick with Sneaker News for release info.
