Sneaker News just showed you a raging red colorway that’s coming up soon and now here comes the other Nike Zoom Solider 6 colorup we’d previewed in Monday’s first look. The Zoom Soldier VI looks so good in this combination of silver, black and blue that, judging by the earliest comments, might have those traditionally inclined to the Nike LeBron flagship series, to consider adding these to your rotation as well. They’ve got performance advantages from a Hyperfuse upper, Zoom Air-cushioned sole and the Soldier series’ signature robust ankle lockdown system, and you can see more details when you click on the jump below. Though LeBron James was pinned as the Hyperdunk 2012′s posterboy and he might end up matching the analogy of Kobe Bryant::Hyperdunk (2008), but we can’t help but wonder if the King will end up wearing multiple footwear styles during this Olympic summer. Here we’ve got the first of two new Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 6 colorways, and though it’d take combining select components of each into a single design, their collective red, whites and blues reminiscent of the ‘USAB’ Soldier VI that LeBron would be much more likely to don in London. This particular pair resides on the first half of that patriotic palette, its Chicago-style palette made extra aggressive by utilizing red for most of the upper. Click through to see them up close, let us know how they compare to the rest of the vast and ever-growing Nike LeBron legacy and stick with Sneaker News for a close-up view of the blue edition coming up soon. There’s no question that Nike Basketball is all about LeBron right now. Give credit to KD for balling out of his mind and coming through with probably the best basketball sneaker at that pricepoint in history and for Kobe for staying at the top of his game despite his “age” and injuries, but LeBron’s the three-time MVP and the Nike-appointed Employee of the Month until someone else knocks him down from that position. Even his sneakers are setting the world on fire, like the upcoming Nike Zoom Soldier 6, and it’s not even an official signature shoe! The Zoom Soldier has been a widely-praised performance sneaker but a perennial afterthough in terms of ‘wearability’, but the Zoom Soldier 6 flips the script for good with the aggressive branding on the strap and the football boot-like placement of the Swoosh at the toe, and this new look at a Red/Black/Silver colorway and Silver/Black/Blue edition should keep LeBron fans rather busy this Summer until the release of the LeBron X. More angles for you to make your judgements are right ahead, so take a look below and let us know if this design has a ‘signature’ quality to it. Photos: kumastock
