You know the story by now, LeBron finally teams up with a superstar squad, they crush their way through the playoffs and then…he ends up falling short of a ring once again. We’re sure he’ll be back with a vengeance next year, and if anything can help him out it’s his post season model the Nike Zoom Soldier V. This secondary sneaker in the LeBron catalog comes with a great selection of performance technology, including an Max Air heel, Zoom Air forefoot, and of course Flywire upper. The double sided strap up top makes for enhanced stability, leaving the laces as a bit of an afterthought. Oh and did we mention that its dropping in the fan favorite ‘Cool Grey’ colorway? LeBron James just let the Heat to a Game 1 victory thanks to his precision from beyond the arc and two exclamation points in the form of an alley-oop slam and an And-1 vicious one-handed dunk. His stock is rising and his world-wide popularity will follow once he wins his first NBA championship, so maybe the upcoming Zoom Soldier V will perform better in sales than the underrated Zoom Soldier IV. The Soldier V features a unique upper, with an ankle strap that locks in on both the medial and lateral side. These two knew colorways of ‘Blackout’ and the basic White/Red/Black should release later this year and be used as a team-based shoe.
