LeBron isn’t the only one with access to special editions of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII. This time around the sneakers have been outfitted in a brilliant gold look for retired WNBA legend Tina Thompson, who was the first draft pick in the history of the league. The sneakers have a bit of that “Liquid Metal” flare to them and end up quite a bit flashier than any pair that we’ve ever seen from King James’ take down line. Get with us after the break to see Thompson proudly showing off her special shoes and tell us in the comments if you’re feeling them.

How Did LeBron James Not Wearing the Nike LeBron 11 Influence Purchasing? Our Readers Chime In

lebron sneakers 11 How Did LeBron James Not Wearing the Nike LeBron 11 Influence Purchasing? Our Readers Chime In

The long NBA season came to a close on Sunday night, with the San Antonio Spurs closing out the 2013-2014 campaign by winning its fifth NBA title. While Spurs fans (and what seems like the rest of the nation) are happy with the outcome, that leaves sneaker fans without any celebratory sneaker release; we predicted some sort of three-peat Pack if Miami won, and there’s no doubt that a Nike LeBron “Three-peat” release would be one of the best releases of the year. Instead, the flipside of the Nike LeBron 11 spectrum is emphasized; LeBron James rarely wore the LeBron 11 during the season, option for the lower-priced Soldier VII throughout the Playoffs. Did his lack of on-feet wears influence his fans?

NBA Feet: 2014 NBA Finals Game 4 Recap

nba feet 2014 nba finals game 4 recap 01 570x424 NBA Feet: 2014 NBA Finals Game 4 Recap

Who would’ve guessed that the series would swing in such a dramatic way once shifted back to Miami? If anything the Heat were in a decent position headed back to their home court with the 2014 NBA Finals all tied up at 1 game a piece. That was until Danny Greene caught fire, something as predictable as his usual Nike Zoom Flight The Glove selection, and Kahwi Leonard had a pair of his best games as a professional basketball player. Now the Spurs head back to San Antonio with an opportunity to avenge their heartbreak in 5 games. There were some redeemable on-feet selections for Miami though, like Dwyane Wade’s gold patent leather Way of Wades, LeBron donning a vibrant red and white PE of this Zoom Soldier 7 (a departure from his warm-up selection of the new “Atomic Mango” LeBron 11 Low) and Ray Allen surprising in a Jumpman Team 1 in white and gold. Which pair was your favorite? Hit the click for more NBA Feet images and let us know who wins Game 5 in the comments section.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 7 “King’s Pride” + “Heat”

We’ve already pondered here whether or not LeBron’s more frequent wearing of the Nike Zoom Soldier series would have an affect on just how fast the sneakers sell at retail, but these new Nike Zoom Soldier 7 styles might not even need the help. One of the shoes comes with a Heat style black/red combination with just a little bit of speckling, and the other rocks a white based look that has a little bit of “Kings Pride” floral flavor to it. See more angles on the two after the break and watch for these new Nike LeBrons at Foot Locker tomorrow.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 7 “King’s Pride”

The “King’s Pride” LeBron 11 is still making its presence felt on James’ sneaker line. For one there’s that “Reverse King’s Pride” pair that slaps the graphics across the Hyperposite pieces, and there’s also this Nike Zoom Soldier 7 that’s got that graphic across the strap and the collar. The Soldier line has been getting more shine than ever before this go round on thanks to LeBron’s frequent on-court wears, and pairs like this certainly help that campaign. See a video review on them after the click, give us your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned for release info on this “King’s Pride” takedown.

The Numbers Behind LeBron’s 2013-2014 NBA Sneaker Rotation

lebron james sneaker rotation The Numbers Behind LeBrons 2013 2014 NBA Sneaker Rotation

The 2013-2014 NBA Season has been an interesting one for LeBron James – particularly on the sneaker side of things. Before the season started, we braced ourselves for an onslaught of PE colorways of the LeBron 11, but that hasn’t been the case! Due to some issues with fit, LeBron has depended on a rotation of sneakers that feature the newest signature, LeBron 10, LeBron 10 Elite, and Zoom Soldier VII (the last of that group getting some extra shine on the PE front). The question is: does LeBron’s sneaker selection affect his play? Does the data tell us what sneaker LeBron should rock for the rest of the season?

NBA Feet: LeBron James – Nike Zoom Soldier 7 “Silver/Red” PE

LeBron and his Miami Heat rolled through Madison Square Garden last night expecting the usual competitive grudge match that comes with their annual trip to Manhattan, but we doubt the Heat expected to add a tally to their loss column at the hands of the struggling Knicks. And even though King James put up 32 points in an effort to get out of dodge, at least he can take solace in knowing that he packed something special in his duffel bag in terms of sneakers for the trip out to MSG. Instead of opting for his Nike LeBron 11, LBJ switched to the Nike Zoom Soldier 7 in an all metallic silver mock up while a red strap donning the crown logo in black glistened under the signature theatre lighting at the Garden. Get with us after the click for a full NBA Feet rundown of the King’s selection and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
