Nike Zoom Soldier VII – Black – Gorge Green – Neon

There was a time in the not too distant past when team-oriented colorways on basketball shoes were either black or white with your choice of a few different varsity colored accents. The past few years has seen an explosion, both in terms of the shades tied into traditional team color schemes and the patterns blended in with their look, all of which is culminating in a new generation of team shoes like the Kobe 8 Philippines. Much like those Kobe 8 PPs, the Nike Zoom Soldier VII is stocked with more zig-zag-enhanced colorups like this style leaning toward an Oregon Ducks ‘away’ look. Stick with Sneaker News to see more of them, and grab this one today from Finish Line.

Nike Zoom Soldier VII – Deep Royal Blue – Pure Platinum – Midnight Navy

The LeBron X had a ‘USA’ colorway as one of its earliest, we’ve just seen it on the lowtop version, and now King James’ secondary signature model takes on a color scheme inspired by the Stars and Bars. This Nike Zoom Soldier VII reminds us that LeBron wore the Soldier IIs at the Beijing Olympics, this Deep Royal Blue color scheme adding red accents atop a Pure Platinum sole naturally connecting with USA Basketball (and appearing differently than the first time we saw the Deep Royal/Pure Platinum makeup). LeBron is wearing the Soldier VII during his summer tour of Asia, and now you can too with this one available now from Afew.

LeBron James is on tour out in the Philippines at the moment, which means he’s been given the chance to switch up his sneakers and wear something besides his mainline Nike offering. Selections have included the Nike Zoom Soldier VII and the Nike LeBron ST Low 2, both models that you won’t see too often over here on US shelves. And since he’s not there on official Miami Heat business the colors have varied quite a bit as well-with Akron’s son lacing up in a variety of blues and blacks. See more after the jump and let us know in the comments if you’ve got any of these complimentary sneakers from LeBron’s line.

There’s been a lotta Nike Zoom Soldier VII love as of late. LeBron James himself has apparently been sporting the sneakers over at his skills academy camp, proving that they’re just as effective a hooping shoe as any of his more mainline Nike stuff. Pictured here is the first of colorways we’ve seen that pushes things beyond the typical colorblocking, as there’s a strange patterning going on across the upper strap. No word yet on the theme that said strap is meant to convey, but best believe Sneaker News will keep you posted with the info on that. Get the full shot after the jump and drop your thoughts in the comments below because these have begun to hit retailers around the globe already!

lebron james in nike zoom soldier vii LeBron James in Nike Zoom Soldier VII

When LeBron James is off-court, his sneaker wears expand to a broader spectrum of Nike/Jordan Brand offerings. But when he’s on court-it’s all LeBron. Of course there’s a little bit of wiggle room even in that category, as the greatest basketball player in the world has a lot more going on than just his signature model. Shown here is Bron making an appearance at the LeBron Skills Academy in the Nike Zoom Soldier VII, a takedown model that features a strapped up look. Continue reading for the full shot and then tell us in the comments if you’ve had a chance to do some hooping in this peripheral LeBron model.
