Spring 2013 gave us a nice variety of Stefan Janoski signatures from Nike Skateboarding as well as promise of more good things to come. One thing missing from the SP13 preview we showed you last November is this newest release, the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid in Wolf Grey canvas. These add red details and white Swoosh/sole to arrive at a crisp and clean result that has a subtle way of drawing more attention than your average grey canvas shoe. Toward the tail end of last winter, Nike Skateboarding issued a new Premium Stefan Janoski colorway built in a Metallic Silver fleece material. This time, they prepare us with warmth toward the start of the coldest season, as the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid is ready with a couple similar styles. Equally wearable and even warmer thanks to muted woolen uppers but more expressive courtesy of the Terracotta-ish soles they share, these new styles slated for December 2013 offer even more proof that the Janoski line is really only now starting to fully express all its potential. After a trio of chambray-collared pairs to start the year, the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid gets back to a more traditional approach for the first release of the summer 2013 season. The latest Janoski Mid from Nike Skateboarding utilizes a University Red canvas upper plus white Swoosh/sole for the crisp two-toned style that’s made this line so immensely popular over the past few years. It worked quite well with Dark Obsidian and Digital Pink, so let’s have another go with a dark upper plus one carefully applied vibrant accent tone on the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid. This latest release features black on its suede and chambray upper, opting for tonal laces whereas the aforementioned pair popped pink. This leaves Electric Yellow to do its work on the tongue tag and outsole for a ‘Thunder’-ish high-contrast if low-key combo that you can see in greater detail after the jump before buying from select Nike SB retailers like Flatspot.

The key theme for the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid this season is simplicity, as three new two-toned colorups join the original black/white with the debut of more intricately patterned lowtops right around the corner. Joining red/mint and black/neon midtops is another example of eye-catching texture, a Dark Obsidian Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid cast in suede and chambray with Digital Pink laces. The gum sole furthers the sense that while this is a relatively expressive colorway, its restrained composition is in line with the timeless style this silhouette represents, and you’ll find them depicted further below before you grab a pair from shops like CCS.

Not one but two blue canvas Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid colorways have us excited for the summer 2013 Nike Skateboarding catalog. There’s one in a darker shade somewhere between navy and cobalt with black piping and the standard white sole plus one more with a more aquatic blue all over, including the foxing. This gives the remaining gum brown portion of the vulc sole sidewalls a novel low-profile look, and you can see more of how they compare after the jump below. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
