An idea so perfect, the last time Nike Skateboarding released one it spawned a copy-cat in a new colorway, the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid is back with brogue embellishments borrowed from traditional wingtip dress shoes. Built on the shoulders of boat shoe giants like Sperry and Timberland, the Janoski’s docksider appeal is a natural match for the upscale look conferred by careful perforations and that distinctive toecap. This blackout edition is arguably even more elegant than last year’s Chestnut/white combo, and they’ll be out soon at select retailers, so get yourself ready with some more photos below.

Stefan Janoski’s Nike Skateboarding signature is built from a tradition that practically demands conservative colorways, but we’ve noticed a distinct turn to more solemn looks as we approach autumn. Especially on the Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid, we’re seeing more and more rustic colorups, like this mix of Marine and Khaki whose rich leather upper and soft earthy accents is just what’d come to mind were you to think of a falltime standard (and fittingly, reminiscent of last holiday’s ‘Inuit’ Quickstrike). You can look for yourself at the premium quality in detailed images below, then get with retailers like Flatspot to bring home a pair today.

This new Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid will be grabbing the look in what comes as the second time the sneaker has gotten a little tipsy with the adult beverages. Nike SB’s Dunks and Blazers each got one serving of Nori green, but the midtop Stefan Janoski signature is going back for seconds on the Seaweed. This new Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid is ready for the NFL season to begin with a colorway somewhere between Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars, its Seaweed green suede upper giving way to Dark Gold Leaf accents and riding the classic black-striped white vulc sole. This is one of those perfect fall styles whose earthiness can be applied to so many different wardrobe combinations, and it’s available right now at retailers like Flatspot.

Nike SB is in the middle of a transition. So much so, that retailers that carry their sneakers are now receiving shipments of familiar silhouettes that’ve been stripped of their ‘SB’ branding. This month’s Nike SB Zoom Eric Koston in white/gum and Stefan Janoski signatures in both heights signal wider distribution to come while Zoom Bruin and Dunk Mid both in white and soft neutrals still come with the same tags we’ve come to expect. Click through to see each one detailed individually and let us know which you’re looking to cop from Nike SB stockists like DQM.
