Brands like PRO-Keds deserve some credit for developing the roots of the sneaker game. Whether you were a b-boy or just liked to rock the slickest gear, PRO-Keds put out ‘it’ shoes in its heyday, and the brand is bringing back some of its most popular models in luxurious new colorways and materials to take back the spotlight. Here’s a look at four upcoming releases of the PRO-Keds Fall/Winter Footwear Collection; two 69er Lo releases in premium leather (espresso brown or black) with contrast stitching and two Royal CVOs in heavy nylon are available now at PROKeds so check ‘em out below and let us know what you think.

Summer is officially here, and this Sunday, the grill will be blazing and the PBR will be flowing as Packer Shoes welcomes the legendary Biz Markie to help celebrate their recent PRO-Keds collaboration with a backyard BBQ. Leather colorways of the classic PRO-Keds 69er Lo are available at the store and online now in black, olive and the Packer exclusive white. The shoe will be packaged along with a special t-shirt and Biz USB keychain and will also grant you entrance to the barbecue. Space will be limited so you’ll need one to get in, but the chance to toast burgers and Pabst Blue Ribbons with Biz should be well worth the price of admission. Those who placed orders online can pick up their shoes and BBQ admission pass beginning at 12:30 pm on Sunday, and anyone looking for a last-minute pair can grab them then as well. It’s outdoor grillin’ season and Packer Shoes is teaming up with Pro-Keds to serve up a fresh dish of new PRO-Keds kicks, with Biz Markie as the host who boasts the most roast. Three colorways of the PRO-Keds 69er, green, black, and a Packer Shoes exclusive White, will release as part of this special three-way collaboration, and on June 26th, Packer Shoes will host a special Backyard BBQ with Biz Markie in attendance.
