We’re seeing more classic sneakers each year remade into summer-ready specialties by way of breathable uppers. Whether it’s Nike Hyperfuse, plain ol’ mesh or another kind of open construction as we see above, breathable kicks for warm weather stands out as one of today’s key trends. This new Puma Clyde ‘Urb Pack’ takes into account the heat radiating from the asphalt floor of the urban jungle, applying an all-over perf to give these new Clydes a breezy vibe. Check out both pairs after the jump and check for yours at select Puma stockists worldwide.

After the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” descended on the NYC streets last week, the pair is now ready to spring its wings to a handful of other hard hitting sneaker stores across the world. The pair caused quite the queue outside Reed Space upon their initial arrival, and we’d be surprised if the rest of the globe reacted any differently. You’ll notice that among the retailers stocking the Made in Japan Puma Clyde that Barneys New York is the only other spot listed here in the US, meaning that for stateside heads it will remain a very NY affair. Get the full list after the jump and tell us if you’re trying to get your hands on the Staple x Puma Clyde Suede “Pigeon” from one of these spots.

Some more in depth info and a brand new set of photos have arrive for the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” design. Check out the first in depth images of the Staple x Puma Clyde Suede “Pigeon” right after the jump and watch for these sneaks to release next Wednesday, April 17th at Reed Space in NYC. The Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” pair will be landing on April 17th. Jeff Staple’s “Pigeon” theme has always been one tied to his NYC locale, a connection that works doubly on this upcoming release given the Puma Clyde’s strong connection with the early hip-hop scene in the Big Apple. As you know from our initial preview of the sneaker, the colorblocking echos the muted grey and red scheme from Staple’s classic riot-inducing Dunk release. Tell us if you’re looking forward to the Staple x Puma Clyde “Pigeon” in the comments and stay tuned for more info.

Undefeated made extensive use of the Clyde for collaborative projects in 2011-12. The Puma Clyde has slowed in ’13, with just a couple of key collabo projects on the horizon. The only in-house style we’ve seen in several months is fittingly subdued as the Clyde Luxe goes for the ‘Blackout’ look in a deluxe leather build. The vast majority of Clydes over the years have been done in suede, so have a closer look at how it does in this elegant style and grab yours from select retailers like Kith.

An extremely prolific collaborative model of late, the latest Puma Clyde teamup is authored by an Italian sportswear label that in turn borrows on the legacy of American university athletics. Franklin & Marshall was launched in Italy after its founders came up on a dope sweatshirt while thrift shopping in London, and these new Clydes with their block print on the heels echoes the classic collegiate look, but the addition of that same lettering on a second set of laces pushes them over the top. They’re limited to 500 pairs for each of the five colorways you’ll see below, and available now straight from Franklin & Marshall.

What do you get when you mix a pigeon and a puma? The answer is this, the Staple x Puma Clyde pair that’s apparently on the way for Spring/Summer 2013. From what we can see via this quick sneak peek photo, the sneaker is very much a resurrection of Jeff Staple’s classic, riot-inducing Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pigeon’. The grey and red color combo is in place and the heel on the back end even looks to have that feathered icon embroidered in the proper place. Get the full preview of the Staple x Puma Clyde right after the jump and tell us if you’re excited for this upcoming collab in the comments below.

Puma has Future’d its classic Blaze runners with LTWT synthetic builds that further deliver on their iconoclastic designs, but little did we know that one of their many collaborations with Undefeated was ready to expand the range. Even if they lose the ‘Neoprene’ nickname, these UNDFTD x Puma Future Clyde lowtops make for an equally interesting update, their bootie construction and bold colorways taking this frequently suede classic basketballer to new levels of expressiveness. The external heel counter is the clincher, adding a new and definitive contrast that will draw some extra attention to the release coming up this Friday, December 14th at SNS.
