We’ve seen bits and pieces, and now Puma unveils its Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook with even more goods to come. We’ll start with the Puma Trinomic XT1 Plus making its triumphant return after 23 years in original 1990 colorways. In a trend that extends through these previews, the XT1 is complimented by a run of apparel featuring the namesake triangular logo. Puma’s Macht’s Mit Qualitat premium drops keep coming in both classic sneaker and clothing form, and the same is true for the Slipstream vintage baller. The Progressive Running category doesn’t have any clothing options here today, but there are a variety of models and colorways on display. Last but certainly not least is an apparel-only capsule from the legendary artist and NY graffiti OG Todd ‘REAS’ James, and you can see the entire FW13 lookbook in more photos below.

Puma was about a year ahead of schedule with the Year of the Snake trend and has continued to release new styles with some regularity in the interim. Today we see three familiar models take on colorways that would have just as well-placed in early 2012, as the Puma First Round, Slipstream and Basket go for elegant black and/or white makeups featuring various scale placements. Stick with Sneaker News for release info on this Made in Japan Python collection, and check out more below in the meantime.

Puma shows off a range of classic styles in new colorways at their Bright Tradeshow installation. A set of Puma Steppers offer a suede welcome in four vibrant shades, and from there we get just the slightest glimpse of the Easy Rider (under ’1982′) and one marked for ’84 that’s hard to make out but could possibly represent the long-awaited return of the Pacific. Elsewhere, there’s no need to speculate that new Trinomic Trail and Disc Lite colorups will satisfy classic running fans, while the Slipstream brings a bit of old school basketball hightop goodness to round out the set. Stick with Sneaker News for updates and let us know which is the best design from this collection.

It’s crazy to think that we haven’t seen a new Puma Slipstream colorway in nearly three years, but at least the German Cat interrupted this ’80s basketball hightop’s silence with a timely new style. The ‘Snake’ Slipstream applies a generous portion of scaling to fully integrate its crisp navy and white palette, a move that makes them feel both fresh (snakeskin is a hot trend and a key part of Puma’s FW12 lineup), and hearkens back to the middle part of their decade of origin when ‘Python’ narrowly missed becoming 1987′s answer to Elephant print. Get comfy with the retro vibe thanks to more photos below and stick with Sneaker News to find out if/when these arrive at US retailers.
