Puma shows off a range of classic styles in new colorways at their Bright Tradeshow installation. A set of Puma Steppers offer a suede welcome in four vibrant shades, and from there we get just the slightest glimpse of the Easy Rider (under ’1982′) and one marked for ’84 that’s hard to make out but could possibly represent the long-awaited return of the Pacific. Elsewhere, there’s no need to speculate that new Trinomic Trail and Disc Lite colorups will satisfy classic running fans, while the Slipstream brings a bit of old school basketball hightop goodness to round out the set. Stick with Sneaker News for updates and let us know which is the best design from this collection.

Puma always comes through with new Clydes and Suedes and the Disc Blaze and its LTWT offspring have been pretty hot this year, but the German Cat looks to branch out with a wider variety of offerings heading into the colder part of the year. In the Puma Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook, we see everything from the new Puma Trinomic Trail (which is, of course, based on the iconic R698 Jogger) to the resurrection of the ZDC 82 in commemoration of its 30th anniversary. Be on the lookout as these are arriving at select retailers worldwide and check out some more shots below to figure out where to start.

Sneaker News gave you a first look at the Puma Trinomic Trail last month, so judging by the design and its name, it was entirely reasonable to expect more colorways to follow up on the fall 2012 debut. And that’s true today as we see four new styles arrive to retail before that previewed look, but now we also know that two of them are another model in the series. The Trinomic Trail Mid and Lo are as similar as their names would suggest, but the higher cut version opts to lay its lockdown system atop the Formstripe. This along with variances in blocking keep two of the same palette from feeling redundant and you can see those along with the greater differences between red-accented grey and black pairs, in more photos below. Puma has been building some momentum with this line and its Faas Trail releases; leave a comment to let us know how these rank against Nike ACG and other outdoorsy competitors, then grab your Trinomic Trails at Shelta.

Of the categories you usually associate with Puma, how far up do trail ready runners usually rank? It’s safe to say that most of us think of that classic b-boy vibe from the Suede’s of yesteryear or the modern track styles promoted by the likes of Usain Bolt, leaving the German juggernaut a little light on models ready for more rugged runs. The all new Puma Trinomic Trail addresses that gap, a model on tap for Fall 2012 that wears some rounded off boot style laces and a chunkier outsole on bottom to complete the almost hiker-style look. Continue reading for a better view and let us know if you’re looking forward to the Puma Trinomic Trail set to make its debut later this year. Photo: thedistinctlife
