The Air Jordan II has a fair amount of catching up to do in the retro category, as the sneaker has been a little bit forgotten about in the midst of the crazy Jordan Brand release schedule from the past year and a half. They still manage to excite though thanks to the player exclusives pairs lurking out there. Pictured here is one of those, an Air Jordan II made for Quentin Richardson that dons a ‘Knicks’ combo. The sneaker also dons the autograph of that Jordan Brand athlete and little bit of wear and tear picked up from in game usage. See more on this Air Jordan II Quentin Richardson PE after the jump and purchase the pair now from sandwichpress on eBay.

Q-Rich’s stay in New York City in the mid-2000s produced one of the best collection of Air Jordan Retro PEs we’ve ever seen. It’s certainly a good sign that Jordan Brand went with classic Knicks colors twice in the last year (Air Jordan 1 High OG and the Air Jordan IV Retro), but we’d certainly like to see more down the line – wouldn’t you agree? This Air Jordan XIV is as clean as they come, using a primarily white leather upper with the blue/orange combo used on the upper for that Knicks uniformity, so check out the gallery below and throw in your offers in this live listing from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

If you had your eyes glued to the LA Clippers during the early part of last decade you’ll recall one Quentin Richardson rocking Air Jordans on the regular, from player exclusive pairs to general releases that offered up the easy black/red combo for the Clippers unis. In the former category is another awesome Air Jordan IX PE from that era for Q-Rich, a pair that comes in closest to the OG black and red in terms of colorblocking. Of course they’re far from the same sneaker, with this one mixing in a bit of brown sort of in the vein of the ‘Olive’ and switching up the materials quite a bit with the patent mudguard and leather upper. Click through to check out this awesome Air Jordan IX PE from Quentin Richardson’s Los Angeles Clippers days (complete with a spicy little box tag) and bid on them now from kicks_hnd on eBay.

Ever wondered why Fred Jones continued to get Air Jordan PEs despite a 7.5ppg career scoring average and only one season in double-digits? It’s not just because of that 2004 Slam Dunk championship; Jones kept the Jumpman on display at Madison Square Garden and joined the likes of Jared Jeffries who were chosen as Jordan reppers largely because of location, location, location. A level above those guys (but a tier or two beneath current Knick Carmelo Anthony) was Quentin Richardson, a career 10 and 5 player who labored for New York during the Isiah Thomas era. There weren’t all that many highlights during that dark period before the coaching and superstar lineup changes, so this Air Jordan II PE made up for Q-Rich stands out as one of the bright spots. They’re done in a style similar to the other Air Jordan 2 player exclusives we’ve seen with simple embroidery on their lateral ankles; does the high-contrast Knicks palette make these the best of the AJII PE bunch? Let us know when you click through for more images and check out the auction available from the.warehouse on eBay.

Quite the eventful weekend, no? With the release of the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ on Saturday morning and the unfortunate online fiasco that happened in the early morning hours, this past weekend was certainly one of the most eventful ones of the month. Did anyone rock the Cement IV in the NBA? That distinction goes to San Antonio’s DeJuan Blair, who rocked the White/Cement IV with the Spurs throwback jersey. Quentin Richardson might’ve topped that by wearing his Black/Royal PE of the Air Jordan XIII, and Demar DeRozan continued wearing Kobe’s by rocking a sick Red/Black Zoom Kobe VII iD. The Jeremy Lin Show continued with a loss against the Hornets on Friday, but Linsanity returned on Sunday when the Knicks defeated the defending champion Dallas Mavericks in an exciting come-from-behind victory. J.R. Smith made his return to the NBA, chipping in with solid scoring for the Knicks while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low. The Air Jordan XI was again a popular choice, with the Space Jams and Concords making their weekly appearances, and LeBron James continued rocking PEs of his Nike LeBron 9 in back-to-back appearances against the Cavs and Magic. The weekend was capped off by Durant’s 51 points, Westbrook’s 40, and Serge Ibaka’s triple-double as the Thunder knocked off the Nuggets in OT.
