Shown here is an early pair of the sneakers, one seeded out to Roots frontman and musical mastermind Questlove. Questo’s been just a little bit quiet on the Nike front over the past couple of years, you don’t hear tales of his collection too much these days and he hasn’t had any sort of officially partnered Nike shoe drop in a minute. He’s still very much in the game though, as evidenced by this ominously tracked Vine video of the man unboxing his personal pair. Questlove’s involvement in the sneaker world is well known, his legendary collection and overall participation in the culture garnering him a number of official collabos to come out of Beaverton. With that being said it only makes sense that he get a little Reebok love as well, with the recently retro’d Reebok Question carrying connections to the Roots drummer both in terms of name and physical location. Apparently after professing his love for Miracle Whip, Questo felt compelled to pay homage to his favorite sandwich spread in sneaker from, calling on PMK customs to create this pair that borrows the red, white, and blue blocking of that famous bottle and puts some extra Questlove touches in.
