air tech challenge jordan 7 custom Air Jordan 7 Air Tech Challenge 3/4 Customs by Ramses

The whole Air Tech Challenge line of Nikes is getting plenty of love this year, as the brand seems more than happy to remind customers of their heritage in the tennis category now that they’ve got Agassi back on board. Also reminding folks of the heritage is this Air Jordan 7 custom pair, which wears a print borrowed from 1992′s Air Tech Challenge IV or Air Tech Challenge 3/4. We’ve seen a couple of Nike Sportswear releases pick up on Agassi prints this year, but we’d still assume that a Jordan Brand cross-over is pretty far out of the realm of possibility. The Air Jordan V and the Nike Air Command Force are sneakers of the same era-the two releasing just a year apart (The Air Jordan V made its debut in 1990 and the Command Force a year later). Erasing the gap between the two sneakers is this latest joint from Ramses, which brings the original black and yellow blocking for that pumped up Nike shoe onto the Air Jordan V. Do you think the results top the previous Air Jordan IV “Command Force” creation? Give us your thoughts as far as a head to head battle between the two customs down in the comments and then get in touch with creator Ramses with any inquiries.

The Nike Air Carnivore‘s most recent retro was sort of a sleeper hit, as folks were slow to pick up pairs at retail and they quickly turned into an outlet mainstay. Honoring that design, and also timed to coincide with the release of the Jurassic Park 3D remake for the dinosaur connection, is this Air Jordan VI “Carnivore” custom. The pair puts on a clean mixture of black, white, and teal and throws on the print from the Nike Air Carnivore for the midsole sectioning.
