Are you still waiting for dream-team collab of Sanrio and Nike to finally happen? Until that most kawaii of collections officially materializes you’ll have to be satisfied with the custom creations in that vein. This one takes the recent Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Polarized Pink’ and plants their most famous character on the side, with a Hello Kitty head popping up on each sneaker. On top of that there are a few extra pink touches, one of them of course coming on the icy outsole as is the Sole Swap signature move. The Sole Swap and Rebel Air team up continues to bring all sorts of crazy custom work to Nike Air Foamposite models, this latest pair going back to the superhero theme. The superhero in question is The Flash, whose bright red and yellow outfit is transferred to the wavy upper of the Nike Air Foamposite One, his head area wings even painted on. As far as superhero squads go we’re fairly sure that the general public is still focused on the Avengers at the moment, the massive buzz from their onscreen debut swelling once again with a sequel now confirmed. Let’s not forgot though that another Marvel Comics squad held down the silver-screen years before them, that squad being the X-Men. This customized version of the Nike Zoom Rookie ‘Memphis Blues’ sees the consistent coloring used to pay homage to one Hank McCoy, aka Beast of the X-Men. Aside from the awesome hand painted look put on by Rebel Aire, the sneakers also get some Jason Negron Sole Swap work with the LED implants for the various pods.
