Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2013 is Reebok’s most successful release to date. The Reebok Classic Leather is one of those models that hit the scene, made a splash and never really went away, and it’s once again building momentum with classy makeups that’ll rouse the suede and mesh crowd. Here’s a green suede edition that’s been given a vintage treatment with faded labels, terry lining and RBK’s take on VNTG midsole yellowing above the gum bottoms. Let us know how these compare to the dope nubuck pairs that hit during the holidays and stick with Sneaker News to see if there are more colorways upcoming.

They rose to prominence during different eras, so Swizz Beatz never spent time in the studio with 2Pac, though he did remix the ‘Untouchable’ single from Pac’s Life ten years after the prolific recording artist’s demise. Reaching even further back for a posthumous teamup (though not quite as far as the Basquiat RBK collabos) is the upcoming Keith Haring x Reebok Classics capsule, which like The Radiant Child’s, sees the late artist’s signature style applied to iconic silhouettes like the Reebok Classic Leather seen above. Let us know how these compare to Haring’s Freestyles and the others we saw previewed this summer, and stick with Sneaker News for release info for these spring 2013s.

Sneaker News just showed you the Workout Plus and Classic Leather in a shared supple nubuck, the pairing of which perhaps suggests future iterations for the former. Whether it can be attributed to Swizz Beatz’ influence, the growing sophistication of the sneakerhead set or some other reason that’s tough to put a finger on, Reebok is making a strong turnaround by reissuing its established classics in more and hotter new styles than at any period in recent memory. On one side of things we have ’90s bangers like the Question and Answer series, Shawn Kemp’s Kamikaze sigs and the Emmitt Smith turf trainers, and on the other, the OG ’80s silhouettes that created a platform upon which the Pump could blast off. The Reebok Workout continues a strong 25th year in a steely grey suede and is joined by the immortal Classic Leather sporting a similar motif (plus gum outsole). Both of these Vintage Pack Classics are available today at select RBK retailers like SNKRS, and you can see both pairs in greater detail below.

Reebok has reinvigorated its Classics division with a variety of ’90s-era retro releases, but one model has remained a core component of the Vector brand’s casual catalog for three decades. The Reebok Classic Leather is a timeless icon on the order of an Nike Air Max 1 or Converse Chuck Taylor, one of those styles for which you can reach in enough different scenarios that not having a pair is most definitely a sneakerhead foul. You can thank an impeccably elegant design for the CL’s staying power, and a new video after the jump below shows just how beautiful it is to watch a pair come to fruition.

Just over a year ago, the Reebok Classics Vintage collection resurrected some of RBK’s most famous 1980s designs, styling them in the same white leather that made models like the Workout casual standbys. The set was fairly limited and increased in value immediately upon sellout, and the demand suggests that while this new capsule might be more affordable and produced in larger numbers, you’ll be wise to get yours now before they’re gone. The Reebok All White Pack includes the aforementioned Workout in a midtop cut, the Ex-O-Fit for guys and Freestyle Hi for ladies, along with the iconic Reebok Classic Leather, and you can see photos of each pair after the jump below. Let us know which one most faithfully executed its old school styling and find yours at select retailers like Finish Line, Foot Locker and Champs.

Nike Sportswear and Jordan Brand both have plenty of examples of how an icey translucent outsole can add a few extra degrees of heat to an already solid design, and now Reebok looks to finally get in on a look that they’ve been conspicuous in avoiding over the past few years. Now that the manufacturing technology helps keep them from going yellow longer, just why isn’t RBK creating more ice-soled kicks like these new Reebok Workout Mids and CL lowtops? Each of these three pairs looks superb with a single-colored leather upper and white midsole, and photos of each are waiting for you below before you buy a pair from Mr. R in Miami.
