Reebok Classics VP Todd Krinsky describes the brand’s partnership with the Keith Haring Foundation as a project that “Allows us to reimagine the artwork of this ground-breaking genius through a new medium that will appeal not only to his greatest fanst but also introduce Haring to a new generation.” The first set was a success in late January, and now we see a second drop of Keith Haring x Reebok Classics designs set to arrive on the first of April. The Keith Haring x Reebok Classic Leather Mid Lux, Freetyle Hi and Workout Plus each carry the artist’s signature Everyman, this time in a trio of high-contrast arrangements from the departed New York artist whose palettes sneakerheads typically associate with Chicago. Check out more images below and stick with Sneaker News as we approach the second launch on April 1st, 2013 followed by a Reebok Classic x Keith Haring Foundation exhibition April 5th-7th in Japan.

The Reebok Classic line continues to be a collection curated in part by the celebrity power couple of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The latest from the former has just arrived-a group of the brand new Reebok Freestyle Hi Wedge, a remix of the classic Reebok Freestyle Hi silhouette that brings them in tune with the more contemporary wedge-look that’s been ever so popular as of late. German fashion designer Patrick Mohr applied his signature triangular look to a pair of K1X, and now he moves from a local indie to a major brand that’s among the most popular in Europe. The Patrick Mohr Meets Reebok Classic capsule contains the Reebok Ex-O-Fit and Freestyle His, both of which have been treated to plenty of three-sided detailing. These strappy hightops are done in a variety of luxurious black materials including ostrich and salmon (?!), adding laced-in shrouds to make it 3/3 on his sneaker CV. Click through to see both pairs, as well as a video that teases a purple Freestyle, and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

The internet has so irreversibly altered what we consider ‘collaboration’ that it’s almost impossible to consider what it was actually like thirty years ago (especially for those of us who aren’t old enough to remember that far). But even before their names graced the collabo category here on Sneaker News, New York artists like Futura and Jean Michel-Basquiat were friendly associates. Also among that group was the politically charged Keith Haring, who joins Basquiat with a range of posthumous teamups with the Swizz Beatz-captained RBK Classics resurrection. This Keith Haring x Reebok Freestyle Hi is the first individual look we’ve seen since his capsule showed up in late summer, its distinctive two-strap silo covered in Haring’s trademark outline style and color scheme. These are coming up for next spring along with a variety of other designs, so stick with Sneaker News for updates and let us know where you stand on this first pair.

With the debut of the Alicia Keys x Reebok collection much talk has been devoted to the obvious ‘all in the family’ nature of the project, with husband Swizz Beatz currently holding down a pretty important spot over at the Vector Brand. It runs a bit deeper than that though, as Reebok is a brand that Alicia very much grew up with, with silos like the Reebok Freestyle particularly nostalgic for the multi-talented songstress. Click through with us to check out some behind the scenes shots from the recently debuted Alicia Keys x Reebok promo spot to debut that includes Keys herself giving a bit more background on the project and let us know if you’ll be scooping up any pairs.

The Reebok team can now officially welcome a new member into their family, with Alicia Keys being the latest artist to partner up with the big box sneaker company to curate her own collection. The range was previewed last week but this time around we’ve got shots of a few more styles included along with the official word on the lot. In its entirety the group features pairs of the Freestyle Hi, Freestyle Double Bubble, Classic Nylon Slim and Princess, with a rift down the middle between the regal black and gold looks and the more lighthearted colorful pairs. Stay with us after the jump to check out all the sneaks as well as Alicia Keys herself making them look pretty good (and giving a background Q&A on the project) and let us know if you think her pairs can rival those of hubby’s Swizz Beatz as far as Reebok is concerned. Also, be on the lookout for the Alicia Keys x Reebok collection now at chain stores across the US.

Judging by how dedicated Swizz Beatz is to his Reebok role you had to figure it was only a matter of time before he convinced wifey Alicia Keys to get on board as well. As of now he has, with Alicia getting her own collection that runs four pairs deep right off the bat. The models include the Reebok Classic Nylon Slim, the Reebok Freestyle Dubble Bubble, and the Reebok Freestyle Hi all under the ‘Alicia Keys’ designation which has resulted so far in some very focused black and gold pairs for the most part. Follow us after the jump to see what Reebok has whipped up for Alicia Keys and stay tuned to figure out exactly when they’ll drop at spots like Millennium Shoes.
