Reebok Classics has made extensive use of their mid-1990s basketball catalog of late, but that doesn’t mean they’re neglecting other notable OGs. Here’s the Reebok Inferno in the original ‘Neon Sign’ makeup, a bright white-based colorway that echoes the spirit of the age in which it debuted nearly a quarter century ago. It was just over four and a half years ago that Reebok last retroed this 1991 running shoe.  The Reebok Inferno was somewhat overlooked back in 2009, but with RBK doing such impressive things with its Classics lineup of late, there should be some extra momentum to carry this release to the promised land.  Color names including Vitamin C, Far Out Blue and Blazing Orange make for a great golden era flashback, so check out more images below, then find yours in stock for August at Reebok retailers like Solebox.

Reebok Inferno

White plus orange and blue atop a white base is a classic Reebok running colorway.  We saw it last month on the return of the OG ERS 2000 and now from 1989 we jump ahead two years to another example of this iconic look on the following generation.  The Reebok Inferno ditched the Energy Return System in favor of the Hexalite cushioning platform, also turning up the intensity on the accent hits relative to the aforementioned predecessor.  This original colorup last released in 2009 returns along with a Phoenix Suns-ish counterpart, so click through to see both of them from more angles and stick with Sneaker News for what looks like a back to school season release.
