Packer Shoes looks to be deepening their legacy with Reebok with an upcoming Reebok Kamikaze II release. The pair appears to be a tribute to the 1996 NBA All Star jerseys, with the Vector logo re-worked to include the colors and the chili pepper from that classic uni. Also hinting at that connection are the “1996″ hit at the end of the lace placket and Packer’s “Remember the Alamo” accompanying text. Let us know if you’re excited for the Packer Shoes x Reebok Kamikaze II “All Star” and be sure to check back in with Sneaker News for up to date info on this intriguing collab.

The next chapter of the Reignman downpour is ready to begin as the upcoming Grey/Black colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze II is set for a release at Reebok Classics retailers on April 1st. This colorway is certainly the most “accurate” in terms of Seattle landscapes because if anyone knows, Seattle is one grey, cloudy city! That, however, doesn’t reflect the true enthusiasm the city has for Shawn Kemp and the sport of basketball, so let’s hope the city gets an NBA franchise soon. Rock City Kicks will have these in stock on April 1st so check out the extra shot below and let us know which Reignman colorway you like best.

It’s amazing that a story told in the early-mid 19th century known as “A Christmas Carol” has such a presence in pop culture today. Sometimes it’ll turn out amazing, like Reebok’s upcoming Holiday 2013 release known as the “Ghosts of Christmas” Pack; featuring three of Reebok Classics’ most popular models in the Question, Shaq Attaq, and Kamikaze II, this trio of releases hones in on the three “Ghosts of Christmas” with the representing the Future, Present, and Past, respectively. These are merely catalog scans so the final productions could be different, but we do at the very least get an idea of the Holiday-inspired themes surrounding this supernatural folktale. Check out the individual scans below and let us know what your initial reactions are to this interesting development, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates.

Shawn Kemp’s storied career continues to get its necessary shine as we lay our eyes on yet another colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze II inspired by one of Kemp’s defining moments in the sport. In 1994, Kemp played for Team USA in the 1994 FIBA World Championships for a squad dubbed “Dream Team II”; with Kemp’s 9.4 points a 6.8 rebounds per game, Team USA took home the World Championship Gold in resounding fashion. This special ‘USA’ colorway will begin to hit stores in March, leading off a string of great Reebok Classics releases like the DMX Run and the upcoming Shaq Retro releases, so check out the images below and we’ll let you know when these officially hit Stateside retailers.

Did you know that Shawn Kemp, at age 39, attempted a comeback at basketball? This happened four years ago when he signed a contract with a team in the Italian League, but some unfortunate events involving his home and Hurricane Ike forced Kemp to return home. That was the last comeback ever attempted by the Reign Man until Reebok decided to bring back Kemp in another form – his signature shoes. It’s been a wildly popular release in 2013 thus far, and it’ll certainly continue in 2013 as we get a look at two spicy colorways in Neon/Black and a second ‘Iridescent’ colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze II. A full detailed gallery is just below so give them a review and let us know which of the two you like better.
