There are more Reebok sneakers coming that use Keith Haring artwork to talk about the dangers of freebasing. The new “Crack is Wack” collection features all sorts of imagery borrowed from the Haring mural of the same name that was original painted in 1986 in East Harlem. We’ve seen some of these shoes already show up at US retailers, but this is the first time that we’re getting a look at the full collection. This year was a big one for Reebok Basketball and their retro styles, as all sorts of older signature models were trotted out and rapidly consumed by the sneaker-loving masses. They didn’t lose track of their Pump heritage during that time though, and indeed they won’t in 2014 as evidenced by this set of vintage styles. Included in the group are the Reebok Pump Graphlite, the Reebok Pump Omni Lite, the Reebok Dual Pump Runners, and the Reebok Pump Aerobic Lite. The Reebok Pump Aerobic Lite in question is billed as a one-of-one by Swizz Beatz, meaning that they’re either a painfully crafted custom or something out of the Reebok lab that the man himself had a hand in. Did we mention that’s Alicia Keys showing the sneakers off? Continue reading for a better glimpse and let us know if you like this snake-over treatment down in the comments.
