Reebok and Marvel Comics have been collaborating on Spider-Man sneakers for a while now, but this upcoming collection is a reminder that in the ten years since Sam Raimi’s first Peter Parker film started the CGI superhero revolution, it was a team-up in The Avengers that made the biggest splash. The Marvel x Reebok partnership grows stronger thanks to a variety of characters on a mix of familiar and updated silhouettes whose total of ten different drops offers an RBK-penned answer to the highly successful Star Wars x adidas Originals collab. We’ve already seen detailed images of the Captain America, Wolverine and Chamber styles, so check out the rest of the set after the jump below, let us know which hero’s design is your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for US release info. via Sneaker Freaker//SC

Reebok is expanding its partnership with Marvel Comics beyond just Spider-Man-inspired designs, this upcoming drop pictured above coming courtesy of a character so popular he played a key role in three X-Men films and a spin-off of his own (with another in production). The Wolverine x Reebok Pump Fury HLS pairs the revised Insta Pump Fury silo with an adamantium skeleton (at least figuratively) and a colorway that matches the unique claw hangtags in their reflection of the mutant superhero known to his allies as ‘Logan’. US sneakerheads might not have the same kind of name recognition for Reebok Classics Asia Pacific Creative Director Verbal as his stateside counterpart Swizz Beatz, but he’s every bit a pillar of the Far East hip-hop community as the original Ruff Ryders beatmaker. The Verbal x Reebok Pump Fury HLS sees the AMBUSH co-founder place its logo squarely on the shoe’s signature Insta Pump, though metallic silver laid over white in jagged lines ensures your eyes won’t stay locked on that for too long. Click through to see more, let us know how this likely Asia-exclusive compares to the other Insta Pump HLS colorways we’ve seen and stick with Sneaker News for more from Reebok Classics’ big push. via FashionSnap

What happens when you apply modern construction techniques and a slimmed down sole to what was arguably 1993′s very best running sneaker? RBK already showed us both the ‘Tricolore’ and ‘Citron’/'Firecracker Red’ OG drops as a smooth transition to debut the Reebok Pump Fury HLS, and now we get the first crop of new colorways on this revised Insta Pump Fury. Both pairs feature a jolt of summer energy, but a silver, blue and yellow pair, though exuberant, looks almost pedestrian next to the cornea-scorching Phoenix/Clemson edition. Check out both in greater detail below, let us know which of these texture-toed Pump Fury HLS palettes is better and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability. Photos: atmos

Reebok debuted the Pump Fury Superlite in 2010 as an update to a design that’s arguably still ahead of its time. This heavily ventilated seamless look was around just long enough to get us excited about new Insta Pump Fury releases that’ve come in the aftermath, but we’ve been left without a modernized take on this 1993 classic for a good while now. Perhaps the Reebok Insta Pump Fury HLS is exactly what we were waiting for all along, a multilayered mesh build that’s a bit more substantial than the Superlite without sacrificing any of the performance benefits. Click through to see more of this pair done up in the OG ‘Tricolore’ look and grab yours from select RBK retailers like Extra Butter.
