Including most of the HLS updates, the vast majority of Reebok Pump Omni Lites are crafted in leather. That’s why, despite a fairly subdued colorway, this new pair stands out so much. This is indeed a fairly novel color combo with the Brown Painted upper adding red and purple accents atop a grey sole, but it’s the rarely utilized suede upper that really makes these unique as compared to earlier colorways on this Dee Brown classic. Check out more images below, let us know how they compare to last year’s Grizzly Court Victory Pumps and stick with Sneaker News for updates as we approach the September launch.

More than any other palette save the original orange-accented ‘Dee Browns’, no other color combination has been as popular on the Reebok Pump Omni Lite as this one. This 1992 classic gets another American-style colorway, but unlike the ‘USA’ edition that released around the Olympics last year, these opt for a more subdued blocking pattern and eschew all graphical enhancements. The result is a suede and mesh Pump Omni Lite with timeless coloring and trendy blocking that you can see depicted in more images below before buying at shops like Extra Butter.

This new Reebok Pump Omni Lite is crafted in the same pattern that defined the most recent drop, but you might not recognize that thanks to their different implementations. The earlier Steel/Shark edition fit firmly in the ‘tonal’ category thanks to its mix of greys and a white sole. This new black and royal edition utilizes the exact same template, but thanks to the definitive black/white split and a blue slice through the heel, these come off quite differently. Have a closer look after the jump so you can decide which is more appealing, then grab yours from Concepts.

Kia has enjoyed quite a boost since that fateful February 2011 night during which their young pitchman dunked over the Optima he more recently promoted through time travel. Had Dee Brown pumped up his Reebok Pump Omni Lite in the same kind of media environment twenty-two years ago, one might imagine RBK still a dominant force in the basketball performance arena. But the return of this ‘home’ answer to the black pair in which Brown hit his famed blindfolded Dunk Contest winner reminds us of RBK’s peak, and now both of these original 1991 colorways are available now from SNS.
