With all of the focus on Reebok’s mid-90′s Basketball output, let’s not forget about some of the earlier classics that really put Reebok in that number 1 spot! This classic colorway of the Reebok Pump Omni Lite was worn by high-flying guard Dee Brown who won the 1991 NBA Dunk Contest with his famous no-look Dunk, but he really put the shoes on the map by pumping up the shoes before performing his double-clutch reverse jam. This OG Omni Lite did in fact re-release in late 2009, but with the energy around the brand at an all-time high, it’s definitely worth another go-around at retail, don’t you think? Euro retailer SneakersnStuff just stocked these, but expect a release in the US soon (we’ll keep you notified of a release date).

This teaser promises that next up on the menu is a pair of the Reebok Pump Omni Lite. Or is it two pairs? There are two separate colors posted on the Pump tool found on the tongue, but we wouldn’t past them to split the colors up in a single pair. They started the season in the pole position, but Lane Kiffin’s latest University of Southern California football squad has failed to live up to expectations in quarterback Matt Barkley’s senior season. The Men of Troy have a chance to redeem this ‘lost’ season by winning the Pac-12 (South — does anyone really have a chance at dethroning Oregon at this point?), but an even more significant challenge awaits them in the traditional final game of the season against Notre Dame. So if the Fighting Irish got their own Reebok Pump Omni Lite colorway in honor of next Saturday, November 24th’s battle at the LA Coliseum, the Trojans’ red and gold will be an equally perfect fit (even though USC’s been wearing Nike for as long as we can remember). What Southern Cal has to play for after this regular season finale will be determined largely by this weekend’s games, but you don’t have to wait for UCLA because these USC Pump Omni Lites are available right now at Politics.

Reebok concluded their contract with the National Football League at the end of last season, but that doesn’t mean the Vector brand is done with the gridiron game altogether. A model used not too long ago for a last gasp NFL pack goes back for its diploma as the Reebok Pump Omni Lite takes on the look of two teams from one of college football’s most storied rivalries. First up is the undefeated and #3 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who, despite having been with RBK parent company adidas for some time now, seem a perfect fit for this early ’90s basketballer. Stick with Sneaker News to see USC’s answer and pick up this hot new Notre Dame Pump Omni from Politics.

The most recent Reebok Pump Omni Lite pair to turn heads was that Wish collaboration, a pair sporting a monotone red look for the Solo cup inspired upper. If you’re looking for something a little bit more colorful though then there are options out there, namely this sort of Denver Nuggets looking colorway. The pair comes out of the box with some fancy rounded off boot like laces, a welcome addition that more and more pairs seem to be sporting these days. Click through with us to check out this Reebok Pump Omni Lite colorway and lookout for them at stockists like Feature Sneaker Boutique in Las Vegas.

The “Reebok Back” chant may have a slightly different meaning at the center of this Pump Omni Lite collab with Atlanta’s Wish. Titled the “American Fun” Pong Pack, this upcoming design is inspired by the collegiate-level sport of beer pong, in which the iconic red Solo-brand plastic cups are organized in a pyramidal fashion on opposite ends of a ping-pong table, where this famed battle for ultimate party-time supremacy takes place. The upper uses a tonal-red set-up with a combo of patent leather ad a matte finish, while the white ankle and tongue lining represent the interior white of the actual cup. Peer inside and you’ll see a sudsy graphic of golden hops, with the dreaded foam on top! Wish ATL is set to drop these on October 13th so check out the gallery below and let us know what you think about this fun collaboration!

Have you had your fill of comic book flavored Reebok kicks yet? No? Good, because there’s yet another model in the works from the Vector Brand that apparently pays homage to your friendly neighborhood web slinger. The pair is a Reebok Pump Twilight Zone, sort of riffing off the NYC theme established by the Knicks palette by sporting the colors of a super hero who has long called the Big Apple his home. Click through with us to check out some pairs put on display by Reebok man Swizz Beatz and tell us in the comments below if you’re feeling these red and blue bangers.
