If you were around for the fitness phase of sneakers in the 1980s, you can remember a time when Reebok‘s silhouettes of that style dominated the scene. Reebok definitely remembers, as they’ve kept the designs from that time around since. A new crop has popped up for July 2013, one utilizing the likes of soft white leather uppers, gum bottoms, and navy accents. Except it’s not so much people stepping on his sneakers that he’s go to worry about, his life of opulence instead puts him in the range of stray food flung from the hands of his personal chef. A number of notable hip-hop celebrities recently celebrated with Reebok Classics for the White Collection – a full product line of tonal-white bangers ranging from the iconic Twilight Zone Pump to the game-changing DMX Run 10. Today, Reebok officially introduces the entire White Collection, which includes the Reebok Question Low, Workout Plus, Classic Leather, Workout Mid, Twilight Zone Pump, Exo-Fit Hi, Phase 1, and DMX Run 10. The entire pack will be available at retail on March 22nd at select locations like Foot Locker, Finish Line, Jimmy Jazz, City Gear, Shiekh Shoes, and Reebok.com, with MSRPs ranging from $65 to $120. Nike Sportswear and Jordan Brand both have plenty of examples of how an icey translucent outsole can add a few extra degrees of heat to an already solid design, and now Reebok looks to finally get in on a look that they’ve been conspicuous in avoiding over the past few years. Now that the manufacturing technology helps keep them from going yellow longer, just why isn’t RBK creating more ice-soled kicks like these new Reebok Workout Mids and CL lowtops?
